The chicken noodle soup was really good but a bit too large. The kimchi and radish was fresh and delicious.

I ordered Ginseng chicken from hungry panda today for delivery, when it arrived, the order was wrong. Called restaurant immediately and told them the order I got was wrong, and got blamed from a Korean lady said “ then what you want me to do, you can bring the food back.”, I told her I don’t have a car right now also it’s DELIVERY order not pick up! Then she yelled at me over the phone and said “ today we have so many mistakes, don’t know!” Then.. she HANGED UP the phone on me!!!!!!!! This is just unbelievable and unacceptable service! Without any apologies and no respect! I love the restaurant food for years, but with this kind of service, I will never going back!

Homey, authentic, and comforting - that's the vibe you get when visiting Arirang, a Korean restaurant in Flushing. They specialize in noodles and give large generous portions. During our most recent visit, we ordered long seafood noodles (kalguksu) and nutritious chicken porridge. The side dishes are radish and kimchi!
Their noodles are fresh, flavorful, and hearty - cooked to the right texture with a slight chew. Inside the bowl of kalguksu, there's a whole bunch of clams, some shrimp, fresh vegetables, and potatoes. The broth is rich, peppery, umami-based, and deeply comforting.
Their porridges are nutritious, healthy, and filling. The nutrition chicken porridge we ordered had a whole bunch of rice, chicken, carrots, a whole egg, red dates, and scallions.
Everything is homemade and healthy. Definitely Asian mom approved!
What we ordered:
$19 Seafood noodles (kalguksu)
$19 Nutrition chicken porridge

Top notch Korean noodles with absolutely huge portions! We split the noodles between two and still were full. We got the kimchi seafood noodles, which were full of clams and mussels and had a great flavor—love the kimchi too. Very friendly service, definitely coming again! Love these classic neighborhood spots, perfect for family too.

It was my first time eating at this place and my goodness. It was the best noodles I've had in a while. It's hard for me to understand how this place has lower than a 4 but if I could I would give this place a 10/10 stars.
The noodles seemed to be freshly handpulled if not idk how the noodles can be so chewy yet so soft. The soup was very flavorful as well. The seafood pancake was crispy but at bit chewy inside, the perfect texture.
Also, the ladies were very kind to us. Gave us some warm tea as we waited for our takeout.
I recommend this place rather than Daesung Noodle place 100%. Excited to try their other options as well :)

Keepin it real out here in Flushing
Food is authentic and def hits. Authentic enough that it might not be for everyone, and they're hot too, like it stays hot just like how homemade style food should be. Service wise, one lady was really nice and the other one was aiight. Did have a dirty bowl and spoon with dried up tomato on it. Usually it would bug me but for some odd reason, i was fine with it because of the vibe maybe

Any of their chicken items are A+ (chicken kalguksu, chicken sujebi, chicken gomtang). The best kalguksu spot in the area for homey vibes and taste ~

On cold days Soup noodle is great dish to have. I’ve been going to this restaurant for a a long time and they were consistently good.
It’s good but nothing too special since I live 45 minutes away and it’s hard to find street parking. We waited about 15 min.
Kalguksu was made w fresh noodle and seafood pancake was crispy.

We used to like this place, but today’s experience made me done with this. Will never visit again. After asking multiple times asking for water and utensils, we were totally ignored. Funny part was that server gave basic dish set, but no utensils. Another shocking point - there was no customer except for us. Regardless, we had to wait for 10mins to get utensils looking at food in front of us. When we finally asked another time with louder voice, they gave us a look with rude attitude. Food was almost same as the other times, but my ginseng chicken soup was totally wrong. I was sure they used some old, pre-used chicken instead of fresh one. I had the same meal nearly 50 years of my korean life, so I know how it tastes different. Terrible…
