There open during covid-19 The food was really good, nice coffee shop has a small town fill, but still a large place. They have a free parking lot. Cute neighborhood Looking forward to coming back once Covid-19 is over

Better than any place I have visited locally, I still miss the California coffee shops I grew fond of, but this place is extremely nice. Thank you for keeping this single lady entertained and company.

Black Hole Coffee House gives off tons of fun, retro vibes. I came here to get some work done on a Sunday afternoon. There's a parking lot outside but on days where it gets pretty busy, you may have to park on the streets. There's tons of seating (indoor, outdoor, tables and chairs, sofas) along with outlets. I was able to snag a parking spot and table + outlet pretty easily. I got an iced dirty chai but it was nothing to write home about. They have lots of vegan treats, so I'll definitely want to try that next time i come back!

Black hole has really great coffee and a very interesting atmosphere. I go here when i'm going to have a late night because it is open until 12! I really like their drip coffee and their chai lattes. Sometimes it can be fairly busy and seating and parking can be hard to come by. Definitely a unique atmosphere but a must try in Houston!

A solid coffee shop with a variety of options and a wide array of snacks as well. The vibe is chill too. Volume wise, it's about average for a study / coffee spot. There are plenty of spots, but this location tends to fill quickly! I highly recommend getting there prior to busy hours if you are planning on staying for a while. A food truck occasionally opens up outside as well!

It hurts me to write a bad review of this place, but man I'm just so disappointed. I come here at least 4x a week ever since I moved into this neighborhood (coffee addict, I know ), but now I'm just going to have to find a new coffee shop to get my drinks. I came by this morning to get an iced vanilla latte. The place was packed (more then usual) when I got my drink it spilled over a little on the counter when the barista was trying to put the lid on it. I told her it was no problem & was on my way. When I tasted the drink I realized it didn't have any vanilla in it. I went back in and spoke to the gentleman at the cash register and kindly said, I ordered an iced vanilla latte earlier and I don't think there's any vanilla in it. He said kindly no problem, let me add some vanilla in there for you. As he was adding some in, the female barista making the drinks had her back toward me and said "there's vanilla in there, next time just ask for more. Don't say there isn't any in there." In shock, the other employee and I just looked at each other and I just walked away. The place doesn't write orders on cups, they just say the order to the barista and place the cup down & there was only two people working behind the counter. So I can understand if a mistake was made, but the side comment was truly unnecessary. From a customer's perspective, I get the same exact drink every time & I'm pretty familiar with what my coffee tastes like. On top of that, whenever I ordered my iced vanilla latte (depending on the baristas working) my sizes are always different & my total charge is always the same no matter if I got a small or large cup. It's hard to keep track of the exact cost cause I always tip. Overall, my coffee had always been great. Atmosphere is a very chill & laid back vibe. Place gets busy on the weekends, maybe because of all the homes & apartment complexes nearby. Parking is hard to come by - the lot fills quickly, but some available street parking. Place has a dog friendly patio. I'm sad to have to find another coffee place to go to before work.

Recently visited and it's a nice, cute spot to get some studying done. I came on a weekday, mid day around 1pm and it was packed already. I love their coffee but there isn't much parking. Only a couple in the front but other than that, street parking is available

They make a good dirty chai that has a hint of mint to it. We also tried their salted peanut butter cookie and the ginger molasses cookie, which were both great. Parking can be a hit of a nightmare, so be prepared to street park and walk.

So far my favorite coffee shop in Houston. Highly recommend. To top it off, they have oat milk!
