Love this diner
Very clean . Prices are a bit pricey though! Wait servers are excellent. Food does come in reasonable time. It is my diner of choice.

The menu is hugely astronomical, I think this is the biggest menu I have ever seen from a diner and the food portions are huge too. Ordered an orange juice and it wad bigger than at other diners.

A friend and I went to Blue Bay diner yesterday for lunch.
I have been a customer of Blue Bay diner for over 40 years and I have to say that yesterday was a total disappointment.
I had ordered a BLT sandwich on white toast.Upon its arrival i noticed that there was only two pieces of bacon on the sandwich.I showed my friend and she was shocked. Please keep in mind that it was on two large slices of white bread also know as country white. Two pieces of bacon makes for a BLT sandwich?
The waiter asked if everything was OK and I said “actually no ,it’s not.”I told him of the two mere pieces of bacon on the sandwich and he said “would you like me to bring you more?“ And I said” yes, I would appreciate that.” He came out of the kitchen with two pieces of bacon on the plate. I might also add that the white sliced bread is rubbery and very hard to eat. It’s like taffy. I later spoke to a relative who frequents this diner often and she said to me “Oh gee I should’ve told you never to order the white bread there. It’s terrible.”
I’d recently had a BLT sandwich at a Nassau County diner but 15 minutes away from Blue Bay diner. The difference is unbelievable. The one in the Nassau County diner had a very good amount of at least 2 to 3 inches high of bacon.
Did Blue Bay diner run out of bacon? Is Blue Bay diner economizing in light of the current economic inflation? Is this the current trend of less product for a higher price?
It is little things like this that plant the seed for the loss of customers, and as we have seen in recent years due to the pandemic, the unfortunate demise of many restaurants and diners
In closing, perhaps Blue Bay diner should now modify their menu and rather than listing BLT sandwich they should now refer to it as LT sandwich
I'm from Houston Texas. I get up to Queens once maybe twice a year. I really enjoyed Diners which we do not have here like they do in New York. I really enjoy the atmosphere here and the food and the service was about as good as you can expect.

Nice place for dining. Went to breakfast here. Servings are HUGE. You should be able to take some home for another meal. Meals were tasty. They accommodated my preference. The staff were pleasant and professional. Would definitely recommend.

Great food and service. Staff very polite and very attentive to your needs. They give Large Size Portions. Food was Delicious. I had Hot Pastrami sandwich with Onion Rings best onion ring I have ever had my! My sister had Chicken Salad Wrap with Fries. They also gave us Tomatoes, Pickles & Pink Cole Slaw which they make from Beets was so tasty. For Dessert I had Strawberry Short Cake and My Sister had Creamy Cheese Cake. Both were Large size portions, Fresh and Delicious! On my last visit I had tried their chocolate mousse cake so yummy and creamy too! Definitely a must go to place.

Portions were a good size. I had two eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. A good amount of bacon cooked well, potatos were shredded and crispy, but lacked flavor from no onions or peppers they used to have. The prices were also extremely high

I hadn't been to this diner in years. Decided to have breakfast with my workout group. I ordered a cup of coffee, and the cup had fresh red lipstick on it, as if it was never washed. I almost regurgitated. Luckily I always inspect everything that I eat and drink. I asked to speak to the manager, but they claimed he was unavailable. This Left a horrible taste in my mouth. Be careful eating at this diner. Go somewhere else if you don't want to get sick. By the way after complaining, they looked at me like l did something wrong, AND there's 2 separate charges on the menu. One for cash, and one for using a debit/credit?.. Be prepared to pay more for using a card!!!. Stay away from this place!!!!!!
Been coming here for over 10 years and not much has changed. Prices are a bit steep now for the quality of taste, had some hash browns glistening with oil, couldn't eat them.

I ordered the omelet which was huge, cheese not melted correctly, The hashbrown was barely done. I think the food is pricy and lacks flavor. Service could have been better as well.
