Lady who take the order is very rude. I ordered my food and when I got there I asked for ketchup and hot sauce. She told me I should have said this over the phone. When I asked for extra duck sauce she sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes and say pay now please.

It's an old school suburban Chinese restaurant. Not sure what people expect. Young staff were friendly and trying hard, food was hot, plentiful and tasty. You know what you are getting it delivered as expected. Was a freezing winter night and you could feel the Artic Blast everytime the door opened, so find a seat with that in mind. 158 items on the menu is a bit excessive, so all your favourites will be there !

One of the best Chinese takeout restaurants in the area. The food is very fresh, the vegetables are crunchy and the shrimps are not overcooked. Nice portions. It’s my go to place.

I don’t know what happened but the food went from awesome to just plain garbage. Very sad. The bbq pork in my chow mein was just sliced up ham my pork fried rice was just rice and not edible at all. I hope they figure it out soon and fix whatever the problem is.

Overpriced for the quality of the food you receive and portion size! Forget items in orders and owner was rude and abusive! According to owner, he could see no fault, however blaming his staff. To rectify order they could only expected a complementary delivery times over 1 hour for a 5 minute drive. Save your money and don't run the risk of using this business.

While not totally unacceptable, our lunch was certainly not memorable because of the food. They have a special lunch menu with relatively low prices, but we chose to order from the main menu. There were 5 of us and we ordered 5 mains to share as well as a couple of orders of boiled rice (it was unclear from the menu what size the boiled rice serving was - the waitress suggested that 2 would be enough, but it was only just enough - 3 would probably have been better). The mains were served on large platters (I would have expected the Mongolian lamb to be sizzling, but that was not stated on the menu so I guess the way it was served was in keeping with what we ordered). We were each given small flat plates which made it more difficult to use chop sticks (I would have preferred the small bowls that most Chinese restaurants use). We were not initially given any serving implements and had to ask for some ( not sure how we were meant to transfer the food from the serving plates without them). We had one vegan in our group so included 2 vegitarian dishes in our order, but these were not served for 10 minutes or so after the other dishes (so our vegan had nothing to eat while the rest of us started eating). The food itself was ok (definitely not outstanding) but did not seem particularly hot (the hot food may have been put onto cold platters for serving?). Overall I would come here again if I wanted local Chinese, but only because the Springwood Gardens Chinese restaurant has recently closed...

My disappointments are 2-fold. Last night's takeaway of Combination Satay and Mongolian Lamb were bulked up with onion which filled up 1/3 of the container. Attempts to discuss this with the management failed. 2 phone calls last evening were stonewalled with 'He's a busy...ring back in 10 minutes' which I did unsuccessfully. A visit today evolved from 'I will get him' to 'He's not here. I will get him to ring you before 6' which he hasn't! As a result, regular and sincere customers have gone away wondering 'Could I order a takeaway without onion?', our friends will hear of our experience and we will travel further than the Blue Sky for our monthly treat.

They don't wear gloves while handling food, whether it's raw or cooked.
