I love this place! The food is really great for a vegetarian restaurant. Try the chicken corn soup or the roast pork. Even the chicken lomein is tasty!

Not for nothing but I prefer the old place that was located on Main Street closed to Booth. This one is new but the menu or the owner is the same. They're not as good as the old one. Specially the food. Miss the old one. The food had a different flare and authentic favors. ?

Vegetarian options: Everything that you eat is basically plant based. Nothing is meat. It may look like chicken, fish or pork but it's not. Frankly it is probably the best food if you want to diet. It's extremely healthy. Try it. You may like it. And it's Kosher.

There’s a cafe at the front of this restaurant, and even though I’ve been to many cafes across the city to study in the past, this one is definitely my favorite! The atmosphere is always really nice – it’s never too loud, the drinks are great, the Wi-Fi is fast, there are plenty of outlets, and there’s lots of natural light. It’s basically the ideal study spot. I’m a student, and I self studied here almost every day for a month while preparing for the SAT, and thanks to the perfect environment, I was able to score a 1570!! There are usually others working in the cafe as well, but it never gets too crowded. The customer service is also excellent, and I’ve brought my friends here for the cafe; they all agree it’s a great place to study!

Light food. Not end up feeling heavy even when you order typical Chinese food. The cooking seems extra special.

They speak cantonese and mandarin here.
Came here Wednesday w 3 people. No wait.
Staff was nice.

Best mock meat you'll find in nyc for Chinese food. The vegetarian general tsos was 99% just like chicken.

Drinks were a little weird. Had a weird floral or medicinal aftertaste. We got the sodas.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! We went into the restaurant looking for a menu and didn’t see any so proceeded to ask for one. The guy responded with, “no menu? No menu? What is this right here?” Then after we get seated, they did not serve water or anything, walked away, came back with an iPad and just left it on the table. After figuring out what we wanted to order, no one came to our table so we looked for anyone available. They came over and just pushed the iPad toward us and just pointed at it. When we asked questions they were very rude. We ended up leaving.

A great place to get classic Chinese staples turned vegetarian.

As a vegetarian of Hong Kong ancestry, it’s hard going to dim sum and breaking my vegetarianism. But this place fixes it by offering vegetarian alternatives. A friend and I ordered a lot of classic dim sum dishes such as ha gao and siu mai.
The BBQ pork cheung fun had an interesting texture to the fake meat. It reminds me of the Buddhist fake meat I used to eat as a kid when I visited family in Hong Kong. Tasty, though. The texture of the noodle was a bit rubbery, though.
The baked char siu bao was good. The sugary topping was a bit too sticky, but the BBQ flavor came through. The bread was light and airy.
The ha gao had a hint of ginger, and the texture was a bit crunchy with the different bites inside. Does anyone know what the fake shrimp is made of? I couldn’t place it.
The siu mai was more of a deviation from the meat version with its sticky rice filling. I like the sticky rice wrapped in jasmine leaves, but the siu mai rice didn’t have a lot of flavor.
We also got thin noodles. The sauce was perfect, and the noodles were a bit chewy.

Not pictured is my giant chai tea latte. Which had a lot more coffee that you’d expect for a chai tea. I didn’t like the coffee part, although it’s on me since it was in the coffee section, not the tea one.

Overall not bad! I’d come back to try other dim sum classics such as the football shaped fried dough.

The store has a nice environment and good service, but the food is greasy and unpalatable, and my friends all say the same.

The place is clean. Food is good, especially the crispy duck and cedar fried rice. Service is good. One thing I do not like is the server won’t let you eat anything you brought elsewhere here.
