BoonSikDang 분식당 - Korean Street food, Gimbab, Chicken, Hot dog

Got the $25 Set for 2 people with Tteokbokki, Tonkatsu GyungYangSik, and 4-pieces Fried Chicken. Honestly, the foods are decent! Tonkatsu was just the right texture, with a very unique sauce. Tteokbokki is decent, very flavorful.

One small thing I'll complain is the Fried Chicken. They were ok, served with a decent mustard-mixed sauce. But I was very disappointed that the picture was SUPER misleading. I understand that it's only a picture, but it was false-advertising when it led me to think I was getting Fried Chicken, but instead they were just chicken bites!

If this $25 Set is meant to be some sort of gimmick or deals, it's definitely not worth it with those tiny chicken bites.

Korean Street food such as donkatsu, teokbeokki, and fried chicken are the main items on the menu. The taste of the food is average but not bad for the price. Atmosphere is quite nice with a couple of tables available for seating. There's also no restroom available for customers.

BoomSikDang is a great option for Korean food. I ordered the Chicken sampler. It tasted amazing. I would definitely come back here any day anytime. The service is great. The atmosphere is also good. It's clean,neat, and organized. The bathroom is inside the kitchen which is pretty fun to walk through. I felt like Dora The Explorer when doing that ?. Definitely recommend coming here for sure ?

The food is absolutely amazing! All the ingredients are fresh, and I actually enjoyed it even more than what I used to have in Korea ?. On top of that, the owner and staff are so incredibly kind. We came here with friends for my child's birthday today, and everyone loved it. We were touched by how considerate and friendly the service was from start to finish. I highly recommend this place! I hope the owner keeps the business going for a long time.

The kimbap is very generously portioned. The flavors could be more potent. It seemed catered to first time Korean food diners. We also ordered a bowl with beef. It was not enjoyable. It tasted like the ingredients were of poor quality and the mayonnaise sauce was trying to hold the entire dish together. I would not recommend this.

Jinja is delicious. It’s better than any other Flushing kimbap restaurant. Please don't change it ㅠㅠ It's really delicious!!!!!!!!

What a great cute place to have authentic Korean snacks. Finally it is in Bayside!!!
We enjoyed the combo menu and loved everythig, especially the kimbap.?

I stopped by for a quick midday snack and ordered the K7, potato K corn dog half cheese half hot dog.

Great cheese pull! Super crunchy!

Personal preference, don't get the added sugar sprinkled on top and the cheese could be saltier.

The staff saw that it was our first time and helped with descriptions, very friendly.

The owner’s tteokbokki is so delicious that I buy it often. But the pork cutlet set meal... ㅠㅠ It's so empty. Since it was a set meal, I thought it would come with side dishes like other snack bars.. ㅠㅠ
