The screen behind counter clearly says tell us how we are doing write a review so the young lady that started taking care of me says first I can’t write a name on a cake which I was buying two I said I’ve gotten cakes here many times, she replies well I can’t I said the Spanish lady has done it so the Spanish girl decided to do it not one cake but two so I ask the si Amish girl if the other girl was the mgr she says no I say what’s her name in Spanish and she replies I can’t give names then the other girl says what’s for why do I want to leave a review I said because your monitor behind says so and why didn’t I ask her name because you were with another customer but jumps in my conversation trying to demean me especially after spending $70 on 2 small 7” cakes as I’m walking out she says write what you want, should I go on all three employees not wearing hats or hair nets violation on NYs health department, no gloves handle breads cookies or cakes
Think twice about going there and spending money where you are not valued as a customer, I called and left a message for owner to call me to address the disrespectful Athea that works there, I won’t stop now until you get shut down

This bakery is better than Villa Bata
Catania is an exceptional bakery, renowned for its delightful assortment of cookies and tarts. Their cakes are also excellent, but I especially enjoy ordering their cheesecake, which never fails to impress.
been shopping there for years last 3 times had products spoiled issues they didn’t want you ear me i left my phone number like this the so called owner would call me but i guess they never did bad business !
Customer service is horrible. Pastries and bake goods are good. Everytime I go there is 1 person working and the other girls stand in the corner gossiping does not care people are waiting.
Yesterday was my son's 9th bday and he wanted to have a red velvet cake. I bought cake from the fridge in the front of the store, assuming that if I spend almost $40 for a cake it will be eatable. It wasn't! The cake was old, the cream which is supposed to be white was already soaked with red coloring, the smell and taste of the cake was one of a stale bakery. It's a shame that I paid a full price for a fresh product and got something that ended up in my garbage right away. At least my son got a picture with cake blowing candles, but was it worth $40? Maybe the bakery should offer cheaper price for old stuff , and charge full price for actually eatable cakes. I was always a fan of this place till now :(

Best damn cannolis in New York City. I'll fight anyone that says otherwise.
Excellent bread, cookies and pastries. I walk a half mile with no hesitation just to go there. The females behind the counter are so friendly and helpful
