Best takeout place in Ridgewood by far. The General Tso's chicken is one of the best I had in the whole city. Super crispy even after getting delivered and a lot of sauce. Their sauces and soups here are great because they are well seasoned and they don't use too much thickener. I hate when take-out places have gooey sauce like a lot of the other ones in the neighborhood.

Their hot and sour soup is one of my favorites too. If you get the hot and sour soup, try adding a little soy sauce and Sriracha to taste.

The dumpling fillings are good but the dough is a little too thick. Besides the dumplings, everything else I have tried here was great. They are not on any delivery websites so you have to call them and pay cash (old school) but it is worth the trouble, it's the only place in the neighborhood I would order from and I have tried many.

fast and excellent service

I’ve called this place a handful of times. The food is okay. Today, the woman who answered the phone is rude, purposely huffed and puffed after every question I asked. I originally ordered dumplings and a side of rice but the price was high so I switched it to something that comes with rice. I asked her to take off the dumplings. I had to call back to make sure she took off the rice and her attitude and long sigh into the phone was enough for me to tell her cancel the order. There’s plenty of better places to order from around the neighborhood. Won’t be calling again.

First of all I am chinese. I know what wonton soup should be. The wonton soup at this place is no good and has no flavor.

The food was very good, I liked the service very much. We were very pleased with Ömer Yıldız's service.

Horrible service!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She hangs up the phone on you with out letting you finish ordering.

Best Chinese food in the area. Simple. Prices have gone up a lot since Covid.

The lady who picks up the phone is always annoyed, and simply hangs up on you when you are done telling your order. The Delivery guy is stressed out, tired and doesn’t have time nor patience for you. He’s worked all day, just give him a tip. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS, and always on time. Their sesame chicken is absolutely unmatched. They always follow my special request of extra EXTRA onions in the rice. In all, I recommend China House, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

Just a local Chinese food restaurant, service is always very pleasant and easy to understand. Food is consistently good. Prices have gone up a bit as of late but quality has continued to be excellent.
