On the 2nd floor of 新世纪. I like the food, it’s very Sichuan style, with good price and taste. Service is good too.
Highly recommended .

The worst place to treat friends to a meal. I came here because of the reputation and felt that none of the dishes were delicious. The lamb chop was basically potatoes, with only a few lamb chops as decoration. I said it was slightly spicy, but half of the dishes were filled with dried red pepper. It doesn’t taste like Sichuan food, and the portion of the dishes is too small. Not everyone at the table can eat it. It cost more than 500 dollars. I am very unhappy. Don’t go to this Daxi Sichuan restaurant in the future. It’s a scam!
An authentic and amazing Sichuan style restaurant! We attended our friends’ marriage dinner here. The servers were professional and friendly. The dining room was huge with several rooms and large tables.
For the food, some dishes really impressed me, which could be the best Chinese dishes that I have ever had. Highly recommend the spicy ducks, boiled fish, lobsters, and lotus roots (I could not remember others). Everything tasted authentic and delicious with some chefs’ innovation.

If you are not a fan of spicy food, then don't come here as 90% of the food here is some variation of spicy. Despite having said that, this restaurant serves authentic and delicious Sichuan style cuisine. I would recommend getting the mapo tofu, sliced beef in chili oil, and the clay pot rice. Feeling adventurous? Try one of their delicacies like soft shell turtle or snail. Do keep in mind that the food is on the pricier side.

Went to this restaurant with a party of ~15 people, and as expected the cost was high. The waitresses are nice and the food served was good, but with so many people, it was hard to tell what was going on. Overall though, some dishes were amazing and I highly recommend the lamb chops. Beware though, most dishes here are spicy.

I love Sichuan food, and this place was incredible! They offer free house tea, and the server was very kind and attentive. They have such an extensive menu, and everything we had was delicious. I especially enjoyed the spicy crispy chicken. I will absolutely go back the next time I'm in Flushing!

Came here multiple times as a kid whenever my mom took me to Flushing. This time, I came back with friends and the food is still as great as always. Service was phenomenal, super welcoming staff, we had the window seat so the view was amazing, they also have different spice levels as well which is SUPER accommodating. DAXI is definitely a great place to host lunch or dinner if you want some authentic sichuan cuisine that isn’t too spicy.

This Sichuan restaurant has been in New York for several years. While it may not advertise as aggressively as some newer spots, it remains one of the best places for authentic Sichuan cuisine. The flavors are genuinely traditional, offering a rich complexity beyond just spiciness, truly capturing the essence of Sichuan food. Their menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of Sichuan and other Chinese dishes, making it feel like a culinary museum where you can explore different flavors of Chinese cuisine. In addition to the food, their service and dining environment are also commendable, making it a great place for Sichuan food lovers and gatherings with friends.

Been a regular here since this restaurant opened. Very authentic and tasty Sichuan food. Definitely come here if you love spicy food. Their food quality actually got better, might be a chef change!

The food is just okay. It’s a bit overpriced for what you get, with lots of chili peppers and not much actual meat

I ordered three dishes, only the spicy crayfish was good, the boiled fish was not good, a few pieces of fish were covered with bean sprouts and cucumbers, and the boiled cabbage heart was also badly cooked. The environment was okay, but the food was really not good.

Our family loves their food so much. Everything is delicious. My daughter loves food, and my son is so picky, but both want to return. I just wanted to order everything on the Menu to ensure I got everything. This is my No.1 favorite restaurant so far.

I ordered the signature waistband here before, but the smell of urine was very strong. I couldn’t believe that even the stir-fried food couldn’t suppress the smell. You know, I just ate it out because I was too lazy to cook it at home? And they even overcharged us with tips! ! ! Will never come again!

I kept recommending this place to my friends until I opened the bill and found out that Daxiduo had charged me a tip... I felt betrayed. Will never come again in this life. I remind everyone who sees this, check your bills and take pictures of your receipts. This restaurant has very treacherous waiters, bad guys. You broke my heart. Always negative reviews.
