2 sandwiches, bottle of coke and a small bag of chips was $33. The sandwiches weren’t anything special (chicken salad and volcano chicken) so not sure why it was so much. They were delicious but I don’t think I’ll be back based on the prices.
I drive thirty minutes here for their soups especially their creamy tomato and lobster bisq. Wish they had them every day... and their salads...pricey but delicious! Staff are all great!
You get what you pay for in these neighborhoods, and while this deli might price a thing or two above the competition, the service, skills and food are a cut above the rest. I can save a dollar and get a disappointing sandwich that was made wrong or with cheap ingredients in Bayside, or I can have a sandwich that is so good it makes literally makes my day. It’s an easy choice at this point. Best guys behind the counter, with decades of experience, and good will. Save yourself...
