This would be a wonderful place to sit if this Cafe would stop blasting their music.

Honestly, wish they would play more Spanish music instead of house/techno, it would probably increase foot traffic given the demographics of the area

Refreshing drinks and prices were fine
Beers ice cream hot food. Bike and boat rentals across make a day of it and get out of your home.
Sweet lake side cantina with sodas, snacks and a limited cocktail menu. $10 margaritas, Pina coladas, and sangria, micheladas. Good pours. No inside dining, only terrace picnic benches over looking the lake, which is lovely. About a 20 min walk from Citi Field
Most clients seem to come for ice cream. Cook does his best to run the place, the person behind the counter is on the phone all the time. Place has seen better times, probably back in 63 for the world fair... to be fair the kitchen equipment seems ok.
No very clean and bad service
Great place to watch the sunrise

This little snack bar is located on the Ederle promenade overlooking Flushing Meadow Lake in Flushing Meadow Park. Next to it is the boat and bike rental shop.
The best thing going for this snack bar is the view. The snack bar is situated on top of the promenade; up a flight of steps and not handicap or stroller friendly. They have four or five picnic tables were you can sit and eat while watching the lake. On a nice day, it's actually a great spot to hang out.
Unfortunately, the food is a hit or miss. Not to mention that the prices are on the higher end. They offer some hot food items like burgers, hot dogs, empanadas, and chicken wings. Sometimes the food is good but other times it's greasy and salty. Luckily, they also sell a variety of ice cream, popsicles, and other frozen treats. On a hot summer day it's the perfect thing to get after walking the park. Strangely enough, they also serve wine and beer.
The staff has always been very friendly here. Not sure about their hours though. Sometimes they stay open as late as 7pm and sometimes not. The hours aren't posted anywhere and when you ask they often give you a vague answer.
Food is over priced for it's quality.

Put ketchup on when it wasn't asked for. Offered to wipe it off with a napkin? Really?
