I have been coming to the facility for many many years. The food is amazing and steamy. The spices are wonderful and they make each meal according to your likes. I highly recommend this restaurant

El Guachito 2 in Queens is an absolute must-visit! My husband and I walked in at 6:30 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately.

The entire experience was flawless, starting with the warm ambiance. We ordered a mixed grill plate (4) and delicious baked empanadas (to share) and both were spectacular—succulent, perfectly seasoned, and utterly delicious.

What truly set the night apart was the exceptional service. The pacing was absolutely perfect—not too fast, not too slow—making our dinner feel relaxed and special. Everything was perfect all around. We are already looking forward to our next visit. We will absolutely be back.

I think you'll appreciate this spot that has become my go-to choice. The restaurant handles everything expertly. The menu prices align with ingredient quality. The team delivered exceptional customer service and the meals were outstanding. Hope you find something you love.

Absolutely unacceptable experience.
Today we came here and explicitly told the waiter—more than once—that we do not eat pork for religious reasons and that our mixed grill must not include any pork. Despite this crystal-clear instruction, the dish was served with pork.
When we immediately pointed out the issue and asked for chicken instead, there was no apology, no sense of responsibility, and at the end we were still forced to pay.
This is not just poor service; it shows a shocking lack of respect for customers’ dietary restrictions and religious beliefs. It was offensive and deeply disappointing.
I strongly advise anyone who values basic respect and professionalism to stay away from this place.

We had a fantastic dinner here and Felipe made the experience even better. He was welcoming, attentive, and gave great recommendations—the steak and empanadas he suggested were absolutely delicious, and the wine pairing was perfect. He checked in at just the right times and made us feel truly taken care of.

Between the amazing food and Felipe’s outstanding service, this was one of our best dining experiences. We’ll definitely be back and will ask for Felipe!

Where do I begin? This place is overpriced, the servings are small, the service is atrocious. Went with my family. We all ordered at the same time. My husband’s side dish, didn’t come out, we asked for it 3 times. It was finally brought toward the end of the meal. What was the side dish? Potato salad aka ensalada russa. We asked for chimichurri to 3 different people. I literally raised my hand like a 5 year old for SEVERAL MINUTES. And I was completely ignored.
Mind you, the place was half empty. We were seated immediately when we arrived. So it wasn’t so ridiculously busy that they couldn’t get to us.
If you want to ruin your day and raise your blood pressure, then this is the place for you.

Went there with fam. The service was not bad, waiter was attentive. Meat was not what I would have expected - not the nicest cuts and a lot chewy. I guess if you are not a regular, you won't get the best quality, a catch-22, as in order to be a repeat customer, one needs to be impressed on their first visit and we were not. A bit pricey for what we had, but at least we experienced something different (first time we tried Argentinian). Hope the owner keeps in mind that one never gets a second chance to make a first impression. Word to the wise.

Nice local spot serving traditional Argentine dishes with a focus on meats. Great ambience, service and food.
