The other times I've been here service, drinks, and food were great but today was a very unpleasant experience. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and when asked for my I.D I realize I forgot it. We ask if it's okay to use a picture of my I.D and the bartender said yes but I need to show a credit or debit card with my name which I had so as i'm looking through my phone for the picture of my I.D, the bartender was staring us down, giving us attitude and being very snarky saying there's a sign outside as if we were being a problem when I was fully complying. I don't appreciate attitude and aggressiveness when I was doing exactly what she told me to do. We ended up leaving because she was so unpleasant and weird. Highly disappointed and won't be coming back, which is a shame because my other experiences there were good. So I guess if you're gonna go to El Patron, don't sit at the bar, and avoid the bartender with the temporary tattoo eyebrows.

Amazing food & drinks, however, the service could be much better- especially if you are AUTOMATICALLY charged 18% for gratuity. Of all the times that we have came to El Patron, our servers always used to pack our foods for us if we had any left overs. However, our server Liliana did not. The restaurant was empty as well. Being charged 18% for gratuity and needing to package our own food while our server just hangs out at the bar is theft. Extremely disappointed in the service of El Patron.

Love their $14 +/- lunch specials. Good portion size . The service is slow , so if you are in a rush don't do sit down for lunch because you will be there for 1 hour plus for sure. Good place to come if you like to sit and not feel rushed and catch up talking with friends . Happy hours are a bargain . Monday and Tuesday dinner specials are a bargain too for the amount of food you get.

This is not authentic Mexican cuisine restaurant. It is insulting to make customers think they are going for Mexican food! The chef has to work on his cooking skills. The chicken quesadilla was as dry as a cardboard and the chicken soup was loaded with salt. The flan was hard and didn’t taste good either. But surprisingly enough, the place was very crowded. Paying for food that is poor quality is not my thing!
1000% recommend this place. Food was amazing, drinks were amazing and dessert... the dessert was delicious. The service was wonderful, very friendly and polite. The staff is just om great communication between them making everything just flow amazingly. Love this place and will definitely come back.

Went here with friends and I thought everything was great. The drinks are served in all sorts of bottles or skulls and are very well made. The guacamole was made fresh and delicious, and the enchiladas and burrito were outstanding. The service was good and friendly. The decor is nice with art all over upstairs and downstairs. Definitely recommend.
