The Most Authentic Egyptian Food in NYC If you’re looking for REAL Egyptian flavor, you have to try Falafel Bites in Brooklyn! I just went, and honestly… this is the closest taste to home I’ve had in the U.S. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with true Egyptian soul.
The falafel was perfectly crispy, the koshary tasted exactly like downtown Cairo, and the tahini sauce was on another level. The staff were so warm and welcoming, specially cherry it felt like visiting family.
I’m telling you — this is the best Egyptian restaurant in New York, hands down. If you want authentic Egyptian food that brings you back to the streets of Cairo and Alexandria, this is the place. Highly recommended! 🌟🇪🇬

Baklava like none other I’ve ever had, layers of deliciousness that melt in your mouth the textures and flavors blew my mind. Support this family owned shop! they are worth every penny!
