I came here for lunch the other day. The food is decent, pretty average, and the prices are relatively cheap. I got the LA galbi and cold Noodles, which were decent. The portions are large, and the restaurant is spacious, clean, and the service is good.

Be careful when you eat there! Cooked pork and oyster(bossam) are not fresh. People got sick with diarrhea and fatigue for three days after having dinner at Gahwa. Such a bad experience!

Definitely a great place for sulungtang (ox bone soup). We especially like their kimchee and the bibimbap and bindaedduk are also really good.

As a lover of all things Korean, I can honestly say that this restaurant was my first love. The waiters are always friendly and professional. The food on point. Everytime I go, I get the Yook gae jang, which is the spicy Korean beef soup with a side of rice.The perfect spicy, heartwarming meal for a cold winter day. It never dissapoints. This place is a must for those looking for good Korean food at a reasonble price. Go to GaHwa. You won't regret it.
Very good....classic food. Best for cold weather or hangovers. Beef broth soup just like your mom made. A Korean staple and can't go wrong. Wanted to give 5 stars but it's not amazing and not dying to eat it. Just a very good homey meal. Not that the place is bad or anything but the type of food is a classic.
