Looks good from the display until we brought it home. We ordered red velvet and carrot cupcakes. It tasted dry and old. If you like fresh, moist, 6 come here. The chocolate chip cookie also tasted horrible. If you like to taste butter in your cookies, then you'll like it. I was really disappointed!

Conveniently located next to the Long Island Expressway service road. We came here for a quick coffee & pastry. Easy meter parking across street.Bakery was bustling as we walked in. 2 staff working the service counter. Nice selection of cakes, cookies, & pastries.Good spot for the locals. We enjoyed the treat and jumped back on the freeway towards Manhattan.

Walked in here to see the display, and instantly had to buy my favorite cake of all time. Blackout cake isn't very common nowadays, so it's nice to see this long-standing bakery have an old Brooklyn classic on the menu. I will say, it's not the best blackout cake I've ever had (there's an odd taste at first bite), but it's still decadent and satisfying. They should just edit the recipe a little bit to make it have a more chocolatey flavor.
