Favorite restaurant! Fabulous food and a genuine sense of caring about customers and staff. They closed for the COVID pandemic and just came back! Let's all support them -- and lose a few pandemic pounds with their vegan offerings :-)

This was my FAVORITE vegan spot back when I lived in Rego Park. I’m visiting NYC for the first time since the pandemic shut things down & I am so bummed to see that they’re temporarily closed. Hope they reopen in the near future. Godspeed Green Zenphony!

Longtime customer here...The manager happened to be in a few weeks ago and I spoke with her. They are planning to reopen but not sure when. She mentioned needing to renew permits and such since they have been closed for so long. Hopefully they are back soon. The best vegan spot in Queens.

I just wanted to point out that Green Zenphony has been closed for the pandemic for a while but looks to be reopening soon. There is a review from 2 months ago about a cockroach in food which is impossible since they werent open.Love you GZ and excited to order when you're reopened

Great Buddhist restaurant near the subway stop. The owners were pleasant and patiently explained their dishes to us. They tasted great, just a tad oily.
This is the best vegan chinese food I have ever had, hands down! In fact, some of the best food I have ever had hands down - vegan or not and chinese or not. Love the lo mein and VERY fresh soups - fantastic lunch specials as well. And an extremely warm and friendly staff, too! A gem.

I miss this place, since it's temporarily closed! Always love coming here. I am a vegetarian and to find somewhere like this is paradise. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is amazing. Can't wait for them to come back so I can get my favorite Chinese food.

Never did I think I would ever find myself going to a vegan restaurant. But here I am, and I genuinely enjoyed it! I ordered the garlic eggplant and some kind of pretend meat... I wish I could remember the name of it. The eggplant was cooked well and the sauce was flavorful and let me tell you... If someone didn't tell me it was fake meat, I may not have believed them. Everything they serve is vegan. They also offer you some amazing tea to go with your meal. Highly recommended for vegans and normal people (joking!). Give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.
