ordered for pick up. got a greek salad with beef/ lamb gyro meat and i don’t even know what was put on the top. also got a lunch box with beef/lamb gyro meat and it was a completely different meat. dry, flavorless, absolutely not worth the money. will not be returning. way better options in the area

Strange that the pita is always much warmer than the meat, but otherwise this place is pretty good: Tastes better than Greek street-carts but costs a bit less than Greek diners! Pizza's quite decent, too.
Unfortunately they've reinstituted waitstaff for some reason (are folks really that lazy -- or clumsy??) so be prepared to pay tips!

I had a fantastic experience at Gyro World! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly, but what really made my visit special was the amazing service. Our waitress, Annalisa, was incredibly kind, cheerful, and attentive throughout the meal. She made the entire dining experience enjoyable with her positive energy and genuine smile. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon, highly recommend Gyro World for both the great food and the wonderful service!

Yummy food; I enjoy the tirokafteri and spanakopita. Very fresh ingredients. The pork gyro meat is among the best in Queens.
I received excellent service during my visit today from Kiki and Antonios. Warm atmosphere, very clean dining area. Prep area also appeared quite clean, although my view of it was limited.
Love this place. Been coming here since I was in high school so that’s 19 or 20 years now. I almost always order the GW Plate to share with friends and family. The food has always been great and I’ve never had issues with service or cleanliness. The employees are always welcoming and polite.
What prompted me to leave a review after all this time is due to a recent misunderstanding that was actually 100% my fault but they ended up giving me some free food. They didn’t make me feel bad about the situation at all. I won’t go into too much detail in case someone else decides to abuse their generosity.
I’m a customer for life.

Just ordered Chicken Souvlaki, let me just say WOW. I've never had chicken Souvlaki where the chicken is so tender, soft, aaaand. juicy. I had stopped eating them because they were dry wherever I ordered from. Gyro World bravo!!!
