Good food, but pricier for portions. They do have a good assortment of banchan, which is unlimited. Wish they didn't serve hot tea in plastic water cups! They should at least be in cups made for tea and not soda - you can see the cracks in the plastic cups. Not a big deal if you don't drink the tea anyway. No frills service - eat and get out sort of place - almost always open!

YUMMMMM. They tried to oversell us — the $100 beef combo was more than enough for four — absolutely incredible!

Don't love how the waitress spilt water over me and just ignored it , foods average, you get what you pay for.

This restaurant has a big open space with most tables, if not all, with a Korean bbq set up. I heard that it used to always be bustling with customers all day and all night. Server was incredibly quick and refilled side dishes once for me without asking so that was nice - I guess she could tell that I was hungry as I waited for my food. Got 2 main entree soup dishes and total was about $47 before tip. The yukgaejang was pretty good although it had a lot of green onions and not as much meat. But overall decent price and good quality.

Hahm Ji Bach is a well-known Korean bbq restaurant in Flushing and I do agree that it's one of the better ones. It's usually packed every time I go but the wait times aren't terrible. They are also fully Korean run but understand enough English to order. The service is alright - food comes out at a decent rate, banchan can be refilled if you ask, but since they're usually busy, they don't pay too much attention to your table. The staff also comes to cook your meat for you. We ordered the three beef combo with came with beef brisket, beef tongue, and marinated beef ribs. All of these different cuts were delicious. They also give lettuce and sauces for lettuce wraps, which is the best way to eat Korean bbq meats. We also ordered the black pork belly which was also tasty. It had a good balance of fat to meat and the staff really cooked it to the right level of doneness so there was some crisp around it. All of the meats were such great quality. Definitely a top Korean bbq spot. Menu has a good variety of appetizers, entrees, and different bbq meats to choose from. I'd skip their pancakes. I've tried both the seafood pancake and the chive pancake and their version tends to be on the chewy side. It's also fairly thin and not very filled with toppings so it's not my preference. Although I usually come for their bbq meats, many people come just for their entrees too.

The valet stole my AirPods. Left my AirPods in center console when I gave the car to him, first thing I realized when I got the car back was my AirPods was gone. Walked to valet and asked him and he just played dumb. Used find my iPhone to play sounds, found it on the cabinet where he puts all the keys.

Their food is always amazing. This is my go to place for Korean food. My favorite is their kimchi jjigae!

# Hahm Ji Bach Restaurant ReviewRecently, my girlfriend and I visited Hahm Ji Bach, a delightful Korean restaurant that offers a wide range of delicious dishes. It's our go-to place after a long day, providing a healing atmosphere for both body and mind.## Our order for two### Main Courses**Kalbi:** This dish was tender and cooked to perfection. Even though it wasn't served as a table-side Korean BBQ, the flavors were immaculate.**Beef tartar bibimbap:** This cold dish offered a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. The raw beef and veggies combination was both healthy and delicious. If you never tried Korean raw beef before, it's delightfully refreshing.**Beef Skin and Blood Soup:** The soup had a rich iron flavor, with tender fatty beef skin. The spicy soup was served very hot and was a winning combination. The favors all came together really well into a wonderful soup. This dish also had a very healthy and delicious balance.### SidesThe sides at Hahm Ji Bach were outstanding and could each be a dish on their own. My favorite was a green vegetable dish that resembled spinach but had a unique cilantro-like taste. My girlfriend couldn't get enough of the mashed sweet potato and peas side.## VerdictOur dining experience at Hahm Ji Bach was exceptional, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was top-notch, and the sides were so good that we would order them as individual dishes. If you're looking for a Korean restaurant with delicious flavors and a cozy atmosphere, Hahm Ji Bach comes highly recommended.Ambiance: Beautiful and Cozy Great for familiesDrinks: OkFood: Exceptional Korean CuisinePrice: $$Restaurant Cuisine: KoreanOur Order: Kalbi, Beef tartar bibimbap, Beef Skin and Blood Soup, Green vegetable side dish, Mashed sweet potato and peas side dish

Used to come here every week for dinner and always had an amazing experience with the food and the service. Tonight, we came at 9:30pm and the restaurant has a good amount of people in with a few staff members. After an hour, there was only one server left. The establishment also didn’t have any heat on so it was freezing cold in there. We were so cold we couldn’t take our jacket off. When the dishes came, the waitress accidentally spilled hot tea all over me leaving me completely soaked from the waist down. I was already cold and being soaked definitely didn’t help. I could barely eat anything from the discomfort. The waitress did apologize and that’s all she did. We had to keep asking for more hot teas in order to keep myself warm. When our meat came, the waitress was barbecuing for us so fast that our meat keep falling under the barbecue plate. When we paid our bill, we noticed that no discount was given for spilling hot tea on me. Tbh, that’s ok because it’s truly a mistake. However, the side eye that was given to my table from the waitress when we asked for the to go container for our bibimbap was definitely not okay. Also their free soup tonight smelled and tasted like dirty dish rag. EwwSuch a shame that what used to be a great restaurant has become horrible.

My friend and I were feeling sick, so we went to eat health soup. The chewy meat and rich soup seemed to fill my stomach. The seasoning served with the meat is also excellent.

My friend convinced us to try the raw marinated crabs here, and although there wasn't a nearby train station, we opted for an Uber. The restaurant is a bit hidden, but once inside, there's ample space. The menu is extensive, but we were here for the crabs. It was my first time trying them, and they were delicate, meaty, and served cold - the perfect bite with plenty of meat and fat. The meal included seaweed rice and banchan, and the service was prompt and efficient. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

The taste is pretty good, but the barbecue does not have a smoke exhaust system, the smell is very strong, there are not enough staff, and the service is lagging behindThe taste is good but there is no Smoke exhaust system and taste strong. The restaurant earn lots for running 24 hours but mean to the cost of more serves and the equipment.
