I have eaten at the Halal Kitchen for many years I usually order when I worked at a nearby facility I had a couple of sit down usually the restaurants family and children and there friends are there however I did a walk in today I was excited to get home and eat my very hard to find halal Chinese food when I first opened my egg roll it looked as if it was fried four or 5x my rice had old beef in it and the chicken wings were not fresh needless to say What a disappointment that the owner himself because he didn’t recognize me would serve anyone the food he served me today just because I wasn’t sitting in he made a conscious decision to serve me GARBAGE I won’t play the race card but the thought that he was looking in my face trying to rush me out because he knew he gave me Garbage!! I’m done and will not b going back when I called he knew and told me what you want an egg roll!!
Do not come here for lunch if you have less than an hour to spare. Horrible staff, horrible service, and way overpriced for what you actually get. It took 25 minutes to finally get 4 samosas that I ordered for a quick lunch. 25 minutes later, I left hungry. This was the 4th chance that I gave this place and they messed up yet again. Save your time and money, go somewhere else.
The food here was not good at all. We ordered shrimp and broccoli, General Tso’s, and shrimp lo mein, and all of them were bland and not tasty. The portions were small for the price too.
The owner only takes cash, no cards, and his math seemed off when adding up the total. There’s also a language barrier, which made communication difficult. When we asked for hot oil or soy sauce, it was extra. He wants to nickel and dime for everything.
We came here many times over the years, trying to give it another chance. We concluded it’s definitely not worth it — there are much better halal spots nearby with better food, fair portions, and friendlier service.

For general tso white rice price was more than 15$
It was delicious so didnt mind the price and ordered it again after 3 days, it was sooooo bad, chicken wasnt fresh and wast crispy at all
Guy at the front counter was sick and kept sneezing all over and blowing his nose in the sink without a tissue. I got so grossed out that I left without finishing my food which wasn’t tasty either. Place is nasty.

Resturant is on the smaller side so they definitly want you to do order take out. The prices are a bit high for how small the portions are and the food is very oily and lacks any true flavor. That being said the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I probably won't be a regular but its halal so 3 stars instead of the 2 I would normally give such a place.

Sesame chicken tasted old, rice had grains hard enough to break a tooth. Not wear hijab. No salam.
