It was a cold and rainy night. My wife was coming out of a dentist appointment and she had a craving for ramen… we searched for a ramen place in Flushing. We stopped by Hanami Ramen and gave it a shot…. We may have found our go to ramen place in Flushing!! The food was **delicious** and if I wasn’t so full, I wanted more and more. The staff was super friendly (shout out to Young!). The environment was welcoming and perfect for a date night. We highly recommend this place and we will be coming back tomorrow!!
I’m basically a regular here and I never get the name of the man at the counter, but he always has my order ready for me. He knows me by my face and he’s always very pleasant.
Hanami Ramen is such a hidden gem. If you’re in the area (or not even but want good ramen), you should stop by.
The food is just amazing. I am in love with their kaarage and their gyoza. They are both absolutely fantastic. The matcha latte is so good, and much better than other cafes (which is crazy).
The ramen is delicious. The curry ramen is surprisingly more soupy than most curry ramens I’ve had, and I actually prefer it. It was easy to enjoy and I really liked it. The mushroom ramen was also delicious. The broth is nice and clean, super umami forward.
The black sesame cheesecake is also one of the best desserts I’ve had. I’m a huge fan of black sesame too, so that played a factor. I’d recommend it if you like cheesecake and black sesame.
Please stop by this restaurant. Your stomach will thank you for the delightful meal.
Also psst- it’s not on the menu, but their hojicha latte is out of this world. 10000/10 recommend. You can thank me later!

Such an amazing spot for not only ramen but just food in general. Honestly would love to keep this place lowkey, but I just feel like people have to experience this at least once in their lifetime. The ambiance of the restaurant is very appealing and everything from the chairs that are also storage bins to the way that the doors are made seems very intentional. The food was so good that I couldn’t believe that I found this place in such a rural part of queens. The tonkotsu ramen was very rich and flavorful and the karage chicken was super crispy and juicy. The chef and all the staff seems to be very happy to have people in their establishment so it made the dining experience very enjoyable and peaceful. I’m just very glad to have found this place and now won’t have to travel all the way to the city to find a good food spot. I hope anyone that is having second thoughts about trying this place should totally give this place a shot! If there was a picture on how it felt to eat at this place, the picture below would be it
