Infuriating! Don't waste your time or money!! Placed a $50 order online through doordash at 8 p.m.. got confirmation order is placed, and delivery on the way. At 8:41 I get a message stating my order has been cancelled, the restaurant could not fill the order??? No explanation! Too late to order from another Indian place. Had to Nuke a Hungry Man dinner. Never again!

This is a family-owned restaurant where they really care about food. I order takeout once or twice a week. My favorite appetizers are the Paneer Tikka and Onion Pakodi. For entrees I usually get Butter Chicken, Lemon Rice, Palak Paneer, or Chicken Tikka Biryani. Their chutneys and Raita are very flavorful and a perfect accompaniment to the various dishes. The staff is personable and welcoming. They’re able to dial down the spiciness when I request. In some other restaurants this results in removing the flavor as well, but not here. Everything tastes fresh, natural and flavorful.

Great service, combined with great tasting food. Had ordered Chicken Biryani, butter chicken and Nan to cater my entire office. Everyone enjoyed the flavorful food. Good portions and very courteous service.

For my first time ordering fromThis place I’ve had quite the experience. After a long day of work I decided it would be best to get a quick meal, something different, something thing I don’t usually tend to get often but I enjoy when I do. Flavors of India happened to the place I decided to spend my coin for what I was hoping would be a good hearty meal. Safe to say I was sadly mistaken. My order was rather simple, an order of butter chicken as well as an order of tandoori chicken. Firstly allow me to heap praise where it’s due, the flavor of the butter chicken was quite good. With that being said that was the only bright spot. I’ve had experience with other Indian restaurants in the area and rarely have I had an issue with portions, actually I’ve never had an issue with portions until today that is. The portions were microscopic (the price was not. When it was all said and done it ended up costing me about $43 in total for the 2 orders). I could count the pieces of chicken I had in my butter chicken on one hand, a container that contained (for lack of a better term) 95% sauce 4% air and 1% chicken, what was supposed to be the star of the show. The tandoori chicken was also exceptionally lack luster along with being a child sized portion. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not a large individual, I don’t eat a ton but my lord were these portions small. My advice to anyone reading this and considering ordering from this place, don’t. Unless you enjoy overpriced food with exceptionally small portions. I should have saved my money and just cooked food at home, would have probably been more cost effective and tasted better.I had to come back and edit my review when I seen the owner of the restaurant commented on a review below where a customer stated they’d ordered via Uber and the portion size was bad. The response from the owner was for the customer to order directly fromthe restaurants website as opposed to Uber eats if they’d like portions worth the price. What an absolute garbage response to give a customer. Effectively saying, “Next time order from us directly and we’ll give you a proper portion” an absolute JOKE!

I ordered samosas, dahi puri, chicken biryani and Malai chicken kabab. The restaurant service was casual and friendly!I asked for my Malai chicken kabab order to be less spicy and they were able to accommodate that. It tasted great too! I didn’t realize it didn’t come with naan until I got home. I should have ordered one with it.Biryani taste was a bit different than what I’m used to, but the chicken pieces in it were juicy and well cooked. It was also the perfect mild spice level for me. The yogurt sauce that comes with it was really good. The dahi puri was a bit bland for me initially— but when I asked for some chutneys to go on top of it, the server was quick to get them for me and it tasted much better with the chutneys.Overall, a comfortable and positive experience! Will definitely return to try the other items!

High quality food with generous portions served family style. The chicken biryani and chicken starters are outstanding. Great authentic and hygienic food, everyone has to experience.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in New York. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in New York. Highly recommend!

All I could taste was spice. Food tastes is very very very hot. I don’t know how people can tolerate it. After few spoonfuls of Biryani ,I could not sleep all night from heart burns. Someone forgot to measure amount of spices and poured the whole gallon into the Biryani pot. Never again to buy food from this place.

Terrible. Gave it another chance from years ago. Still not good. Veg Biryani was plain rice with a little carrot ???. Food too spicy and not hot enough. They douse everything it seems in one spice, maybe turmeric? Might as well go back to Dosa Hutt, while it's not as good as it used to be, it's better than this place.

Biryani is good. Chat can be better.

Went there for lunch with classmates. The two gentlemen at front desk were super nice. The food is separate as veg or non-veg. Non-veg price is slightly over my expectation, but super delicious. Highly recommend the Biryani (we ordered chili chicken Biryani, but whatever Biryani is).

Best Biryani in Flushing and other items . Prudvi is cool guy he usually takes the orders. Breakfast is something new on the Menu and need to give a try . ??

would not eat food from here, even if i found myself in a famine.Ordered chilli chicken biryani, what i got was tandoori chicken biryani. Chilli chicken is meant to be fried and juicy, tandoori on the other side is oven baked and dry.The desert was a Carrot Halwa. never ever seen Carrot halwa that dry, it is an insult to call that Carrot halwa.Never ever order food from here, it is an insult to Indian food.

I have been going here since this place opened. The food was always good. I loved the fact that you could choose 1 veg, 1 meat or 2 veg 2 meat. Everything was always good. However i had not visited here in quite a while. Looks like the original owners are not there. It was the husband who cooked. He certainly did not teach these new owners how to cook. Will never go here for awhile. Tasteless food. Curry was tasteless. Even the plain rice is taseless. The woman seemed very disinterested in customer service. What a disappointment.
