Bought a Taro boba yesterday. It tasted like watery. Bad. Not good.

A Pleasant Surprise

I went here on accident a few months ago with my father after having dinner at CheLi. I was originally looking for a different place but they were closed so we wandered around. My father was doubtful if we would find anything since it was already around 4pm/5pm. I was just happy to be out and about adventuring. I urged that we stop and take a look. We ended up getting one plain cream puff, one match cream puff, and the mango fresh cream cake. The plain cream puff was delicious and the match one wasn’t to our taste but the highlight was the cake. The cake layers were so soft, fresh cream not too sweet, and the mango perfectly ripe. The entire itinerary that day felt like a success. Since I’m planning my next trip out to Flushing, naturally I wanted to leave my reviews of the places I enjoyed before. Haha. I bet this place if even better when you go early.

This place had a pretty good selection of pastries and beverages. I really enjoyed the chocolate hazelnut pastry as well as my other choices. Especially dunking it into the hot milk tea was very good! The spongy cake options were quite good!

Cakes are inedible. They all have the same cheap taste with just different toppings. Price to quality does not match. Avoid.

The cakes here are so good that when somebody I know goes to NYC without me, I demand they bring me home a slice!

I came here enroute to the 7 train. It’s a corner bakery-conveniently located and clean. It isn’t as big as some of the other bakeries on the Main Street. The buns were freshly made. I went just 15 minutes of their opening time and they were still putting things on the shelf so everything looked fresh
