This place is a gem- it is so hard to find a real bagel place that still do things old school.
The place is a no-nonsense, bagel-centric establishment.
Personally think their everything and poppy bagels are unmatched. But I got some garlic bagels the other day to put together some lox and cream sandwich.
They don’t make bagel sandwiches (cream cheese only) but don’t let that stop you.

Worst bagel store in flushing. Lady working behind counter is rude and nasty. Place is nasty. And the bagels give off this weird smell and after taste. I almost threw up trying to eat one and regretted buying two. Definitely a hard pass.

Almost born and raised in New York and I say they have the BEST bagels in NYC. I have been eating bagels from JK Bakery since high school and have not found bagels that are better tasting than here! The lady behind the counter is pretty generous when you buy a dozen - I miss the spreads they use to have - egg salad, tuna salad, etc., it was really good. But even plain bagel as is also great. Be quick and know what you want - service is really quick. Avoid morning hours 8-9 am is probably their busiest morning rush.

Great bagels! They're always fresh and still warm to the touch. The owner is nice and no nonsense, just the way I want it. She will also sometimes give you some extra bagels when you buy a dozen or so, especially if she knows you're a teacher. Lately through the years, this bagel shop has scaled down alot because of the owners health. I hope it stays in production because these bagels are delicious!!!!
