My favorite neighborhood diner. It is such a gem. It’s one of the rare New York places that feels like your time traveling. The vibe and decor here is perfect. When my family are friends are visiting from out of town I always bring them here and as soon as they walk through the door they give an audible gasp and say “oh my god! I love this place”. I love diners in general and Jahn’s is one of them. What makes this diner unique is that rather it being along a major highway or boulevard like most diners, it is squarely on 37th Avenue in the middle of the Jackson Heights so it is fairly easy to walk to. Aside from that, there are no frills - just straight good food.
