This is very personal review.
Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.

We ordered the $270 set for 5 of us! We did the assorted sashimi set and it came with all of this food. Lots of sides and apps come with the set so it was a no brainer. The waiter was super friendly and helped translate things on the menu for us. Our favorite side was the baked scallops and the spaghetti. Oh and the starter abalone congee was made soooooo good!!!

The sashimi was yummy but the flounder is definitely more on the chewier side. It seems like the most ordered dish as everyone around us also ordered the flounder sashimi.

Would come back again!

Totally would recommend the combos. The appetizers were amazing. However, the sashimi definitely subpar. The fish has a lot of tendons which made them rubbery...

I don’t understand why their review is so low—the food and service are actually very good.

I went for their lunch sashimi rice bowl event, which I had seen before, and asked if they were still offering it. They said yes, so I ordered it to go and paid. However, I was charged the regular full price, not the event price. If the promotion didn’t apply to takeout, they should have told me upfront.

On top of that, I didn’t leave a tip since it was a takeout order and I signed the receipt accordingly. But when I checked my credit card statement later, an additional tip amount was charged without my consent. I never authorized that tip.

This felt dishonest and like a scam. It left me with a very bad impression.

The BEST sashimi in Murray Hill! We love bringing our parents here for their sashimi sets, and let me tell you when you’re gonna be well-FED after this meal! Just when you think you’re done…there’s more!!

Highly encourage coming here with your friends and family. The service is impeccable, and the food is delicious!

Amazing and authentic! This is very similar to what you would really get in Korea and the portions are wonderfully generous. The fish is extremely fresh and the side dishes are abundant. It’s incredible value. The staff are kind and helpful. Definitely recommend to seafood lovers.

Dietary restrictions: Very flexible menu

Kid-friendliness: Welcoming family environment and on a quiet street.

- Food
Fanily and I ordered Bone-in Sliced Fish and Live Fish menu item, which came with many side dishes for us to enjoy. Select favorites were the oden and katsudon. Best to come in on an empty stomach because you will be eating a lot! The live fish platter was nicely presented and had nice texture. It is served with sesame leaves and lettuce for you to wrap the fish in with soybean paste.

- Service
Very attentive service, cleaned the finished dishes in timely manner. There are a lot of separate plates so space management is key. We were glad to have good service.

- Ambiance
Quaint and small shop with cute lanterns above. There is a fishtank as well where they keep the live fish and other critters (abalone, eels, etc). In the back is the sushi chef. There is a bathroom as well.

This is a great raw fish restaurant that offers the best dining experience thanks to its fresh raw fish and variety of sukidashi.

There are no raw fish restaurants like this in Westchester, so I sometimes order it whenever I go to Flushing. The new owner prepares the food well and keeps it neat. May you prosper for a long time.

It's not worth a single star... I ordered $240, but the sukidashi was all dry and crumbly, so there was nothing to eat. There is no sincerity at all. They completely ignore the customers!!!! I don’t think the business will last long because it’s my first boat.
