Would of been nice they had the ac on in 100 degrees.
The boss seems like he didnt want to turn the ac on for idk what reason .
Idk how the worker works with no ac but honestly ac is needed u sell bread its gonna go bad in a hot weather.

Customer service was good but biggest complaint was the ac not turned on when walking in

I miss the old 빵마을 it was so cozy and cool and nice there owner was so nice too .

bread is ok, the workers are rude, they didn’t say a single thing to me the entire interaction, not even a greeting or thank you. only benefit is that it’s open 24/7.

The cafe is open 24 hours and it’s a pretty nice place to do work. Not sure if they have WiFi but other than that, the drinks and bread are decently priced and pretty good.

The employees are really nice but their English isn’t the best.

I thought it was nice a cafe that open 24/7 so I went there regularly with my friend. We would daily catch up and talk, purchase food and drink there. But these day the old Korean man and Old Korean lady seems to be annoy if you are there to chat with four friend for a long time. They would loudly play video on their phone or on the TV and shush us if we talked too loudly because they cannot head the news on TV or on their phone. Then the old lady would passively clean in our area and asked us if we aren’t going home yet. Isn’t the cafe open 24/7? and we are the only customer in the cafe. Also I ordered a drink warm once and the Old Korean Lady gave me a cold drink instead. When I told I her I ordered a hot drink, she didn’t wanna change it and argued that “But you said cold” which I never did. And she old Korean man would gave us rude attitude when we try to order for no reason. So since that day I don’t go there again when I see the Old Korean man and Old Korean Lady. It used to be my favorite cafe to go at night with my friend. I miss the younger Korean lady with a bang and younger Korean man who served us politely and nice service without any attitudes.

A great spot to grab something small when u r around the area. Card surcharge fee applied.. I paid extra because they don’t take penny…… so used card eventually.

✨Bread was good tho! I’m not sure the name since I read the wrong tag😂

I really don't know where these odd reviews about the staff comes from ?

I'm not a regular customer but I go to this café like once a week, for almost 3x years... & never had any issues with payment / service.

Further, the staff has always been friendly towards me & literally the groups of people ordering.

Now- pertaining to the food, it's definitely a hit / miss.

Some of their pastries are thin / bland / not very creative compared to the numerous bakeries along Northern Blvd. & Flushing.

My highlights are:

1. Chestnut loaf
2. Roll Cakes (all flavors)
3. Square cakes (there's a matcha or green tea & a vanilla)
4. Almond Crisps
5. Drink menu has been consistently good
6. Giant dessert bowl (requires 4+ people)

Lastly, Jia Young Café is apparently 24/7 ??

Haven't tried that many different kinds of breads, but wouldn't revisit because of their very unprofessional and poor service. Lady, who seems like a boss, knew I was ready to check out, but kept doing whatever she had to do without asking me to wait. She also made it clear with her attitude and expressions when I gave her a card to check out as she prefers cash. Watch out as the amount is different between card and cash and she didn't even bother to tell me that or give me a receipt.

A student who works on weekends has a bit of an attitude as he glares at customers. Even though the original price is written on the menu, they charge high prices. Even if I asked for a receipt, they didn't give it to me. The coffee had a strange smell. I ordered a small, but I couldn't even drink a cup.

The boss is so bad, we bought a bread but the boss thinks that’s too cheap for us to stay here for a Uber and let us go, the bread here is bad as well, never come back
