A great spot to grab something small when u r around the area. Card surcharge fee applied.. I paid extra because they don’t take penny…… so used card eventually.
✨Bread was good tho! I’m not sure the name since I read the wrong tag😂

I really don't know where these odd reviews about the staff comes from ?
I'm not a regular customer but I go to this café like once a week, for almost 3x years... & never had any issues with payment / service.
Further, the staff has always been friendly towards me & literally the groups of people ordering.
Now- pertaining to the food, it's definitely a hit / miss.
Some of their pastries are thin / bland / not very creative compared to the numerous bakeries along Northern Blvd. & Flushing.
My highlights are:
1. Chestnut loaf
2. Roll Cakes (all flavors)
3. Square cakes (there's a matcha or green tea & a vanilla)
4. Almond Crisps
5. Drink menu has been consistently good
6. Giant dessert bowl (requires 4+ people)
Lastly, Jia Young Café is apparently 24/7 ??

Haven't tried that many different kinds of breads, but wouldn't revisit because of their very unprofessional and poor service. Lady, who seems like a boss, knew I was ready to check out, but kept doing whatever she had to do without asking me to wait. She also made it clear with her attitude and expressions when I gave her a card to check out as she prefers cash. Watch out as the amount is different between card and cash and she didn't even bother to tell me that or give me a receipt.

A student who works on weekends has a bit of an attitude as he glares at customers. Even though the original price is written on the menu, they charge high prices. Even if I asked for a receipt, they didn't give it to me. The coffee had a strange smell. I ordered a small, but I couldn't even drink a cup.

A place where coix tea is served cold... I was surprised when I drank it.
The boss is so bad, we bought a bread but the boss thinks that’s too cheap for us to stay here for a Uber and let us go, the bread here is bad as well, never come back
Limited choices but 24 hours and clean
Freshly baked tasty bread

I want to eat bread with cream cheeseCream cheese I chose what kind of bread it was written on.From the outside, it doesn't look like cream cheese bread, so I asked the seller if there was cream cheese inside.I bought it because it said that the bread had cream cheese in it.When I got home and tried it, there was no cream cheese at all.Like sticky rice cakes? It was such a bread. Purchased for 3.5 bucks. It's far from home so it's hard to go for an exchange or a refund..I hope this doesn't happen in the future. If it was a bread like this, I wouldn't have bought it.+I called back and they said there was no cream cheese in it.I heard the answer that it went inside the dough. You can't find cream cheese on the outside. It doesn't even taste like cream cheese.Although it seems to be no different from ordinary glutinous rice cakesIt's strange that it's being sold under the name 'Cream Cheese 00 Bread'I guess so and move on.I can't see or taste the cream cheese... From a consumer's point of view, I feel cheated by the exaggerated name.Since the bread was damaged, they said that exchanges are absolutely not allowed, so I have no choice but to move on.As is usually sold in other bakeriesIt's not like there's cream cheese in the bread or there's no cream cheese in the bread at all.(It's not like there's cream in the cream bread at all)I hope there is no one who buys the wrong one because of the name of the bread.
Satisfied my sweets cravings at ungodly hours (4am)

If you want to entertain guests late at night, you can go without any burden.
They have some breads stuffed with red bean and another with sesame and walnut that’s something like a baked mochi bread - reminds me of a sweet pao de queijo. Chewy, a little sweet… so good!
