The dinuguan and chicken curry was almost inedible. Why are the dishes so freaking oily?! Did the Exxon Valdez crash into their kitchen???!!!

Went to their pop up in union square. So much ube stuff which was fun!
It’s very sweet. Very very sweet. And very oily. $6 for two pretty large items which isn’t bad.
Solid gluten free dessert options.

This review is for Kapamilya at the Ubeland Philippines Fest in NYC.
We got their halo halo and it was so disappointing. The mix-ins was just a fruit cocktail (peaches, grapes, cherries)—no beans, no jellies, no palm seeds, no normal mix-ins, JUST fruit cocktail. Their festival menu also said it included ice cream and flan, but the scoop on top is just ube paste, and no flan to be seen.
Such a shame because the line for halo-halo was so long. I hope they just ran out of ingredients or something and that’s why it was so lacking.

choose another filipino store around the area, there are plenty. price are not tagged, below average food. staff are rude, they will
only give you receipt if you ask them. stay away from this place.
Wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Unfortunately, I regret going here, expecting to have an authentic Filipino dining experience.
The staff seem to have the faintest idea or have little knowledge of their products. Also, they were rude for reasons I cannot understand.
For the amount they charge, you'll expect for their food to be worth the price and to have bigger servings.
If you don’t want your expectations and experience to be disappointing, there are other Filipino restaurants in the area that I guess are better in terms of food and customer service.
Staff are unfriendly and inconsistent. These people should improve their service. Bad representation for Pinoys.
I used to come here all the time because it's the only place I know that sells taho. What made me stop coming here are the staffs. They are rude, not welcoming & not hospitable at all. No one is happy to work & give service to customers. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are more Filipino places around the same area that will happily & willingly offer better service, better food & better atmosphere.

Strange non transparent way of pricing. Grilled chicken I got was decent. Service seemed basic. Simple eatery. Biggest issue is the obvious deliberate pricing SCAM.

Never coming back to this place again. The lady was so rude. You bring them business and they treat you like an animal. Some of the food is okay, but with most of it you risk food poisoning. If you want to keep it open. I recommend you to fire those ladies at the counter

Only tried them as street vendor at food festival—it was honestly bad and overpriced. They resell ube bakeries from others—looks enticing but totally lack of quality incidents after first bite

No direction of prices so they’ll make them up. They charge you “tax” when they want to.
