We had a wonderful evening at La Baraka. Our 3 course dinner was exceptional and the service was delightful. I chose La Baraka for my birthday dinner because I knew it would be special and it did not disappoint.
It's a cute place the onion soup was delicious my main course not quite as good. But overall it was a nice experience..

The tweak on French dining with a dpicy Moraccan kick is a refreshing change from standard fare. A most enjoyable and delighful meal and tte twilight dining menu pricing is fantastic!
We hadn't eaten here in a while and had dinner with friends last night. Everything was superb. The food was 5 star as was the service. The quiche and lamb tagine was as good as I have ever eaten and my husband's lamb Kebob was excellent. Great atmosphere and great value.
Fantastic little French gem in Little Neck! I used to work in a French restaurant when I moved to NY’s East Village 20 yrs ago. This wonderful place brought back so many flooding memories upon first taste of the French Onion Soup.
Its original owner and daughter in law were there for lunch.
We spoke briefly and I know if I lived closer I’d become a regular.
Thank you for your beautiful smile and hospitality pumping a sea of new restauranteurs that don’t know the charm of an honest conversation to accompany great food. The front of the house is as important as the back. Thank you!!!

The food was tasty and reasonably price. The service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant.
All of the food is phenomenal. We get the buffet at lunchtime. They have a nice selection of music too. The people eating next door at HK cafe don’t know what they are missing!

This quaint, little French restaurant in Little Neck is absolutely amazing! I just had an amazing meal for lunch. They have a lunch buffet, a prize fixe or you can just order from the menu. The French onion soup is to die for! I will be adding this place to my weekly rotation.

A local gem with an old-school French vibe, this restaurant has been around for 46 years. The food may not be mind-blowing, but it’s consistently good.

Always a pleasure dining at La Baraka. The food is exceptional and they always make you feel special.
This is only the second time we have dined at La Baraka. The service was efficient, happy and speedy. The food is beautifully displayed and delicious to consume. The atmosphere was heavenly and mostly quiet. The cost was worth every penny and we wish the proprietor would move to a site closer to where we live. WE WILL CONTINUE TO RESERVE A TABLE ONCE AGAIN, AND AGAIN. MUY BIEN. Bonita
A Cozy, Heartwarming Spot in Queens!
My partner and I found this little gem today, and we can’t wait to come back. From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The owners are incredibly kind, and the service was amazing—everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere is something special, too. The place has an old-fashioned charm that feels nostalgic, like stepping into a cozy storybook. It’s warm, inviting, and makes you feel right at home.
Now, the food—wow. We started with escargot, and it was rich and buttery, just perfect. The lamb chops were tender and full of flavor, and the pudding for dessert was a sweet, creamy delight. The coffee was the perfect finish to a great meal.
As a young couple, we left feeling inspired by the owners' kindness and the cozy, heartfelt vibe of the place. We’ll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming, unique spot in Queens.

The mussels were delicious and plentiful. The fries were great and the accompanying wine wasa great choice. Great value for the money. Such a charming and delightful place. I got married here 34 years ago and it still great after all these years.
