I’ve been going to La Dolce Italia since I was a little kid. Growing up, on the way to work/school, mom and I would go there every morning to grab a coffee for her and a muffin for myself.
Throughout my life, we’ve picked up cookies, birthday cakes, graduations cakes etc from La Dolce Italia - they never disappointed.
Recently, my fiancé and I did a cake testing with Maria and showed her our design for the engagement cake we wanted. They did a phenomenal job. Even better than the design we showed her. Everyone at our engagement party said the cake was delicious and it was beautiful.
We are so happy and grateful, and we thank La Dolce Italia for making such a lovely and delicious engagement cake for us!! We’ll be coming here for the big wedding day :)

I went this AM before heading out to FL and they were closed but online it says they open at 7a. I was excited cuz other bakeries in the area were closed but I ended up driving elsewhere that was actually open. Wish I would've known the real hrs and would not have wasted my time. Update your hours please!

I don’t like writing bad reviews but this was the worst cake I have ever tasted in my life. We were driving towards Marthas but roads were blocked. Got a cake for my 3 yr old and our family. It was the cannoli one and the lady, she didn’t have good handwriting to write. And then we took it home, cut it, and every single person threw out their slice. It tasted like medicine. The frosting was worse than store bought like $2 cupcakes. The cake part was old tasting. There were bitter chocolate chips and the filling was horrid. We spent $36 and the whole fam was disappointed.
There cannoli filling, strawberry birthday cake is always a hit with the family!

My favorite bakery in all of Queens. Their cookie selection is broad and they're all delicious. Fair prices. Good cakes. Love this place.

Service was friendly, and the fruit tart and apple turnover were delicious. Prices aren't bad for the portion. Highly recommend and would love to come back for some cake!

We walked in to the biggest smile from Maria. She made ordering a cake super easy and reasonably priced. We got some cookies and it was all delicious. A wonderful small business that we should all support in the neighborhood! Can’t wait for the cake.

The guy at the front was super sweet and nice. Desserts were amazing too!
Gelato is great. Good price for a generous portion. I enjoyed the tiramisu flavor. Warm, spicy flavor, and then a hint of coffee at the end. Very well done.
I ordered a cake here and dealt with Maria. She had my cake ready and it was absolutely beautiful! I'll definitely come back.

Great staff. Good food
Found piece of gum in slice of crumbcake I purchased today.
asked for one since of crumb cake and two lingerie tarts, Got home to three pieces of crumb cake and so far one piece had piece ov gum in it.
I went to the bakery to buy some slices of cake and a cannoli because they were known for their cannoli’s. So I was excited to try it but when I took a bite of it I knew it wasn’t going to be good the filling was ok but the cannoli didn’t have a nice crunch but was soggy then I tried the classic strawberry shortcake and that was bland at least the red velvet cake was on point. So in all it was a disappointment
This bakery makes the best of everything! The service is great and Maria is amazing! So glad I had the make my sons delicious 1st birthday cake!
