I hear this everyday walking past Lucia's. "There's pizza in Chinatown?" Are you in a Flushing hotel searching "pizza in Flushing"? Sometimes you've had enough of Asian food, or your flight was diverted/cancelled, and you're "stuck" in Flushing, and just can't eat one more dumpling. Go to Lucia's! Is it the best NYC pizza? NO. Is it bad pizza? Far from it. Is it a tourist trap? NO! If you can't get to Sunnyside for arguably the best pizza in Queens then Lucia's is it. We grab a slice often. Prices fair, taste is always "goooood" to "very good". Service is perfect.

Lucia is a tiny place with just a half dozen stools to sit, but the pizza here is delicious. The cheese is extremely hot, gooey, and floating on the sauce, but the taste makes it one of my favorite Queens Pizzerias. Just let it cool for a minute. The service is good, and the main server is always telling great stories. It's my go-to for a quick slice and coke in the downtown Flushing area.

Excellent, consistent, and tasty pizza and friendly employees. Only issue is sometimes you go in and there are 15 people waiting for pizza slices and they have only one pizza pie in the oven. A pizza place like this has one job and that is to have pizza available. Its been like this for years, but the pizza is so good i guess people dont care and neither do the workers lol They should be constantly flipping new pizzas into the ovens, especially at dinner time but for some reason they only begin to make one pizza when they sell out of a pie, instead of having several pizzas in the oven or ready.....so basically expect a wait if you want pizza from lucias (sometimes itll be 30-40 minute wait bc they have only one pie in the oven and 15 customers ahead waiting). Its a very sloppy process. But the pizza is very good.
As of 2024 a slice is $3.25. They also have hero sandwiches available.
The garlic knots are very dry and MID, they need to garlic butter them up and add parm cheese. basically no seating, but there is a public area around the block to sit and eat.
Great pizza, the boss has good sense of humor and is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Good taste, good value ????

The owner of this restaurant used to own the restaurant on 165th St. in Jamaica bus terminal. I remember him from when I was in high school. The pizza here is excellent to me when I come in this area. I always stop to get a slice and a grape soda.
