So apparently they charged about 22% tax. My food was $10.99 and the total came to $13.44. I asked why, and they said it was tax. But NYC tax is only 8.875%, so it definitely wasn’t just tax — it looks more like around 22%.

An absolutely wonderful Afghan dining experience! The food was rich in flavor, beautifully spiced, and clearly made with care and tradition. The kabobs were tender and juicy, the rice was fragrant and fluffy, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, just like a traditional Afghan meal. The service was kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Great food and service. My son wanted kebabs from here for a final dinner before he travelled to Germany and we were only going to make it right around closing time but they were so kind and made it fresh for us and waited for us despite a snowstorm outside.

Ive never gone to the restaurant itself, but ive ordered the food and its SO GOOD! Ive gotten it twice so far and both times its been mouth watering. If you order it as takeout, they give a lot of sauce, which is really nice. I recommend the family combo!
