I spent $80.35 and ordered 4 takeaways from Jufengyuan in preparation for Thanksgiving. Two were cold and two were hot: one smoked fish, one drunken chicken; one assorted thick fried noodles, and one shredded eel. When I got home and opened the lid of the box, I found a thin piece of fried hairtail hidden under the smoked fish. I continued to scroll down and found that the bottom was full of hairtail. I picked it out and packaged it, took a photo and shared it with everyone...While waiting for the meal, I also chatted with the proprietress Kathy Ni: I worked across the street in the 1990s, and her restaurant used to be a Korean restaurant... I entertained my colleagues at her restaurant 14 years ago... That's it, I'm still fooling you. , not to mention tourists from out of state or foreign countries or new immigrants? ? ? I didn't believe it at first, so I called and asked, and the lady boss told me that they were all "matched" half and half...After hearing me say, "Since you said that, I'll put it online for everyone to judge." She changed her mind and said, "I'm busy now. I'll call you later and make up for it." She hasn't received a call yet. , not to mention making up a copy, not even an apology! I also want to consider for her: there is no problem if there is not enough fish. Just tell me, if you fill it half with fried hairtail, there is no problem.Hiding it underneath and finding out when I came back that I spent money, would she be considered a fool in her eyes? ! The mood for the holidays is gone!A fellow from her hometown came in the middle, and she also took out takeaways. She explained the dishes clearly in Shanghainese. When she came to my side, she said, "Yours is ready, let's go." I said, "Wait a minute, please help me confirm. Which dishes are they? If they are wrong, it will be inconvenient for me to come back!”It has been so many years since she came out. Do you think she is short of this money? If you can be deceived or deceived, you will never let it go! Not saved! I can only expose her!I won’t comment on the taste of the dishes because I’m completely out of mood. I just heard from my family that except for the fried noodles, they were just passable, and the rest only tasted like fish and chicken...Attached is a photo comparing the smoked fish on the menu with the "big box" size braised food from Dong Dynasty next door.I ordered the take out food for our family's Thanksgiving dinner from this Chinese restaurant. One of the meals were "smoked fish", but when we got home and opened the plastic bowl. We found on the top of the bowl, it's "smoked fish" ". But, at bottom all it's "Fried Ribbonfish", it's totally different and the fish was actually a cheaper kind.Even the boss knows I was her old customer fourteen years ago, she was still scamming me. This scam drained our family's Thanksgiving spirit.Other than the fried noodles, the rest of the servings all had an unpleasant fish and chicken odor.

The service is really rubbish. I ordered takeout here twice. The first time, the merchant canceled it without giving any reason. The second time, after waiting for an hour and no food, the customer service called me and said that the merchant was too busy and couldn't do it. Then I canceled the order. They kept holding my order without calling me to notify me. The service was speechless?
It was a terrible dinning experience. The restaurant owner reconnected two dishes. Both are very salty and oily. During the whole time, we were the only guests in this restaurant. We went to Flushing for Chinese food many time. It is the worst restaurant I ever been.
Excellent multi-course meal last night, non Americanized Chinese Fare, Shanghai style
That rude lady. Don't follow Covid regulations. She has no mask on and treats customers like beggar.
The food was quite good.
Never go this order again. Order food though Uber eat by mistake and created a new order. The restaurant charged me double. Also food tasted too salty and less quality
It was one of the worst take-out experiences we have had in the US and we strongly recommend not to try anything from Maple Garden. The order process via Hungry Panda App was super bad and slow, it took us almost 2.5 hours to receive it after placing our orders. We ordered about 7-8 dishes to share with a group of 9 people and only 1 dish was good. The worst dishes were Double-Cooked Pork and Fuqi Feipian which we could barely see meat but only veggies or dried bean curd in the dish.
I ordered chicken feet (tasteless), beef pan fried udon noodle(can’t see the beef), rice dumpling(the meet smells), fish preserved vegetable noodle soup(tasteless), chicken in wine sauce (good), cauliflower in hot pot(good but $17.95... forget to take the picture since only this eatable ?)I will pass this store next time
I could have given one star. But it’s pandemic, so I gave u two.Ordered a beef noodles, no beef!Ordered a fish soup noodles, no noodles.Ordered the rice dumpling, the meat inside stinks! So, good luck!

The the food there is yummy and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we eat in this place we have a lovely evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.
