this is near a residential area the bar inside is nothing special .the loud annoying drunks sit outside all day/night approaching people who live near by . very awkward if u live close when u have to walk by everyday.

My girlfriend and I love going to this bar. Nice low key spot in Woodside. Playing pool and chatting it up with the locals was a fun time! Food is good too!

The lost art of the neighborhood bar. A NYC institution. Great juke box, proper pool table, cash only. Everyone knows everyone. Under the LIRR, so Mets games are 10 minutes out. This is the perfect local, and you'll probably find me here if you wander in.

Your very old school blue collard Irish pub.

Love the locals. Friendly people and no meat heads. So...drama free :)
The owner is VERY RUDE!!! he blew his nose towards me in a snot rocket motion while I was standing on my doorstep at my place of residence. He was on the sidewalk just past my property line. And . had he done so within my property line,I would have called the cops, and had him arrested for assault..

Best and last of its kind!!! Bartenders are brilliant (Polite and well spoken)! A regular neighborhood Cheers!

Listen, this is the kind of bar you wish was right outside of every train stop. Great bartender, TVs to watch the game, cold beers. Will be sure to pass through the Bar Car again when near Auburndale station!
