These are recent photos but I’ve been going here since I lived in Queens in 1980. Food tastes exactly the same and that’s a good thing. The prepared foods are just solid. The customer service is amazing and the feel is homely. I always feel like I’m going home when I walk into Meal Mart in Queens. Thanks for keeping it going!
I called from out-of-town to purchase a gift certificate to be sent to a house of mourning. When I spoke to Shelby (forgive me if I err on the name) and explained the situation, he offered to personally deliver the gift certificate to the shiva house that night (Thursday) so that they might have it in hand before the Sabbath, to make the mourners' Shabbos easier.
