I often go here with my friends in the morning for breakfast, and the chicken samosas we get each time are out of this world. They are crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and are a great deal for just $1.50.
We also get their cha sometimes and it is creamy, rich, well spiced, and delicious, also for just $1.50.
Additionally, the service is great, and when ordering to go, you can expect your samosa to be ready within 30 seconds.
Since we started going regularly, we have even received free rasgulla, sodas, and even received small discounts.
The one problem I have is hygiene, as the bathrooms are not the cleanest and are quite small, but besides that, I love this place.
Would highly suggest recommend if you are ever at 74 St-Broadway, especially since there is an exit from the station that leads you straight in front of the restaurant.
Update: Today my friends and I brought 10 people to join us for samosas in the morning. We had a great time with great service, and the waiter brought us free jalebi for everyone. On top of that, we tried to leave a small tip and they refused. আপনাকে অনেক ধন্যবাদ!

There's this rude Urdu speaking girl running the register who pockets tips on your credit card without letting you know. My receipt said the total is $34.84. However, when I called my credit card company to check how much was charged, it was $41.11 which means she charged tips. She didn't ask me if I wanted to tip. Be careful with these thieves.

I went there to order for take out. I asked for a soup veggie dumpling and the guy was in such a rush which is understandable but he gave me chicken dumplings. I said I asked for a veggie dumpling and he was like give me 10 more minutes, like seriously. I just left without anything after waiting for so long. I think it’s better to listen properly to costumers than messing up the order and remaking it.

I am so disappointed today that’s my to go place whenever I visit Jackson Hights.I ordered one muti makha when I entered the store I saw one in the counter then the guy was pinching the guy & make him understand that they can use the old one I was watching everything then he took the old one then i rise my voice why you giving me that then he make story it’s online order then why you passing me.Its gonna be last time visit that place now so shame you guys can’t keep your customer happy

I went this place to have their momos. This place is dirty. They serve forks with hairs. I tell the guy to change it but he washed and bring the same fork with hair. And the paper was also dirty with hair as well. Very unhygienic store..

They should not use Grubhub for food delivery, Grubhub continuously missing their delivery. I ordered my food and it wasn’t delivered to right place and top of that driver didn’t answer call. Merit kabab should use other delivery options as well to make it convenient for their customers.

I recently visited Merit Kabab and was excited to try their simkhada(Samosa) However, my experience took a turn when I discovered a hair inside my meal. This was quite disappointing, as I had high expectations for the food quality and hygiene standards.
While the flavors were enjoyable, finding the hair overshadowed the entire meal. I brought this to the attention of the staff, who were apologetic and offered to replace my Samosa. I appreciate their prompt response, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth—literally and figuratively.

Overall, I hope this was just a one-time oversight. I would consider returning, but I would urge the restaurant to pay more attention to food safety and cleanliness.
