The cake I had ordered was hard mess. I had called to let them know it was not a good experience. Mind you I I never call to complain because if I don’t like it I won’t buy it again🤷🏻♀️. they immediately started saying they put it in the freezer and blamed it on the butter it was a horrible cake the worst experience I had for a cake. I had also bought a candle that didn’t even work to light up.

Excellent.You will not be disappointed, i just walked in and the Owner was super warm. I wanted a delicious slice of cake, i was tired of all the box cakes being sold in all the cakes stores in NYC. This place is a diamond don’t take my word for it get there and try.

The bread is undoubtedly delicious, as is the cake. My complaint is with the barbecue service, which is also very good, BUT... they bless the barbecue with a glass of broth at a price, which I think is fine. But it's been 4 times that I've bought barbecue and they tell me that there's no more broth so they give me only the barbecue, but it's supposed that when I've asked for an extra broth they charge me for 3dlrs, so when they give me only the barbecue because There is no consome anymore, they should reduce the 3 dollars that the consome costs, which they are not giving me? something they don't do, they charge me the same as if they were giving me consome, I mentioned this to the lady and she tells me That's the price? but then the times that I owe the consomme, shouldn't they give it to me the next time I ask for an extra consomme?

We ordered a cake to be made for my granddaughter from Elmo asking that it be made with elastic dough but the owner denies it and says that she understood that it was a sigh, well we can say that it was a misunderstanding but when breaking the cake everything fell apart. It made us look bad with the guests and well, we called to tell them our discontent and the owner, instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, became arrogant. I do not recommend them, not as a service or anything. I will not buy anything from that place again. Be very careful not to let them. the same thing happens. Let it be clear that it was never our intention to get our money back, but rather that by paying it we expect to be given what we ordered and even more so to be treated well. What will the employees be like if the owner is tremendously rude ?
We had a cake made for my goddaughter's birthday... and the cake was a complete disaster... one of us when cutting the whole thing fell apart... we called the lady who attended to us and she all spoiled and said that she was not going to give us a solution... since I went to pick up the cake and the staff showed horrible attention... be very careful when placing an order... Because people like that shouldn't have a business if they are going to give bad attention.

I came here for my annual Dominican cake and these bakers did NOT disappoint. My family said it was the freshest Dominican cake they've ever had. I went back to get another one a couple of days later. I'm tempted to go over and over again and I don't even eat cake like that.

It saddened me to report this establishment because I had ordered cakes from there before. The work is not the same. Very disappointed to served my guests a lump of dried up dough decorated with plastic flowers. I picked it up yesterday and it's still sitting on my table. Only one slice eaten. They Do Not bake dominican cakes! I don't know what this is! I spoke to Olga, maybe she should tell her dominican clients that Mio Bakery has changed owners or who used to make the cakes, left. $60.00 wasted!
