this is a cozy restaurant in murray hill, queens serving some of the best Korean food i’ve ever had. they specialize in tofu stew so of course we ordered their combination tofu stew with seafood and beef. we also ordered their seafood pancake, dumplings, steamed egg, short rib, and spicy pork belly. you can tell everything was made with love and care from the first bite. my only regret was not buying some of their in house made tofu to go! truly cannot recommend this restaurant enough. we are already planning our next trip to murray hill 😂 there’s soooo many gems in the area and we are happy to have found this one!

Check out tofustory for some amazing, cozy, and authentic Korean food! This place is great for a hearty and tasty Korean meal that will fill you up. It’s especially great for the winter time. The seafood tofu stew was absolutely amazing with mussels, tofu, crab, and shrimp. The Korean pancake was also amazing. The kimchi dumplings were also divine. I also like how they hand make the dumplings right in the store. The customer service was also really good. They were very attentive and poured a lot of love into their food. The food also comes out really quickly. It isn’t too crowded or a wait to go in, and the space is large and spacious. I would definitely recommend this place for some delicious and authentic Korean food that focuses a lot on tofu. The tea that they served was also very warm and comfy, a great way to wash down the delicious and hearty meal! They have a lot of things on their menu and their spreads are really good.

Cozy and clean atmosphere, and the short ribs were good. But the tofu stew wasn’t served boiling, so the raw egg didn’t cook. Service felt rushed and no tea refills. Also quite hot inside, which made the meal less comfortable.

Hidden Jam is a must-visit destination. This traditional spot boasts an impressive selection of side dishes and exceptional tofu soup. Don’t miss the chance to try this place!

Food is so bad- their tofu soup is SO BAD. Tastes fake and artificial… so bland. They should change their restaurant name if they can’t make tofu soup well. Servers are also rude. Korean restaurants are known for their side dishes, our side dishes was empty and other restaurants would ask if we want more but they just took our plates. Would never return- go to other restaurants. I can see this restaurant going out of business soon.

The food is just mediocre, and the portions are small. BBQ galbi was premade. It's just warm and not even hot. Won't come back.

I have been to this store many times and this experience was the worst. After entering, I saw that there were only two tables of customers. In order to keep a distance, I chose a seat with six stools to sit down. A younger waitress came over and told me to sit at the back. We were assigned to a seat for four people, and there was a smell. After we ordered, a male customer sat in my seat of 6 stools. He was the only one, but the waitress did not propose it. Ask him to change seats. We thought, what kind of operation is this? Are guests treated differently? One person can sit in a seat for 6 people, but two of us can't? The older waitress' service attitude was really not very good. When serving the side dishes, she would throw things up like flying saucers, making her face look bad. I would like to ask why the boss still lets such a bad waiter go to work to chase away customers? The other younger waitress was more polite.
