Amazing Beef short ribs! The purple rice is a wonderful treat with the tofu soup and the service is very pleasant and welcoming. Did I say they have amazing complementary side dishes as well? The whole place gives you a sense home style cooking.

3 1/2 stars. I do not recall whether I have reviewed this restaurant on here or not, but I have been coming here for some time with the family. It had been a little bit since our last time. I found the pancake to be overly fried. Too crispy. Almost burnt. The amount of little dishes seem to have shrunken. Times are hard. I was very pleased with my oyster tofu. The galbi was its usual self. The bibimbap looked good, but I did not have any of it. Our servers were very pleasant and the place looked clean per usual. Will be back next time the family requires Korean food.

Had an awesome lunch at tofu story, I pass this place every time I head to work, today I decided to stop in for some lunch. I ordered the combination tofu bowl, consist of beef, seafood, and tofu mild spicy. It was delicious, they also offer me optional white rice or purple rice. Today was my first time trying purple rice, I loved it, it was very tasty. The server mentioned it was healthier and many people ordered it instead of white rice. My bill came out to be $16 for the tofu bowl, all the side they gave were actually free, and If you like one side more the server would offer you seconds. They gave a total of 7 little portions of cold side dishes, I think this was an amazing deal. I had an enjoyed lunch today, they would definitely see me soon !

It’s definitely a great place to grab some comfort food. The tofu soup are all really good and spicy, great for a cold day. The food comes with free side dishes which are also really flavorful and fresh. The spicy pork is good which you can order as a combo with the tofu soup. The fish can use a little bit more seasoning, but overall really good and flaky. Been here multiple times and will be coming back.

Love this place, the server was attentive, and food tasted great. We were eating and the server noticed the banchon was running low and a minute later came back to refill them all. I have been coming here for a long time and even though the name has changed a few times, the food and service are consistently good.

Came in to eat around 9:30 since I thought the restaurant closes at 11. The staff started packing up already at 10 and closed the AC while we were still eating and asked us to pay the bill first. The service was adequate as the waitress refilled our banchans without us asking. The banchans were tasty and a wide assortment. Soondubu was flavorful and came out steaming hot. The galbi was a large portion and very flavorful. I don't recommend the steamed egg as it was very watered down and lacked flavor. I'll go back to Ziggle next time.

MY GO-TO SPOT! Been here a few times with family and friends, food is fantastic! I'm still determining what that hot beverage they serve, but it hits differently!

Craving some Korean cuisine, I stumbled upon Tofu Story as one of my options. It appears that Tofu Story attracts local Koreans in the area which suggests that you can expect a genuine Korean dining experience. As I was seated, I noticed that the menu items here were a lot pricier in comparison to other establishments such as BCD (total ended up being over $70 after tips). A unique aspect to this particular restaurant is your choice of white or purple rice (a nice touch as I was not expecting that). Opting to dine in with my party, we ordered two combos: LA Galbi + Pork Soon Tofu Combination (~$32) & Spicy Stir-Fried Pork Belly + Assorted Mushroom Soon Tofu Combination (~$29). Unfortunately, the LA Galbi fell short of my expectations. However, the Spicy Stir-Fried Pork Belly was flavorful and so I ended up ordering an extra portion to-go for dinner. The side dishes provided were a lot better than the side dishes served at other establishments and featured pickled mustard greens, potato salad (unfortunately missing from the to-go order that I ordered) kimchi, snow peas, eggplants, bean sprouts and fish. Overall, Tofu Story offers a decent dining experience with some hits and misses. Although, it is unlikely that I will be returning here anytime soon as the prices were a bit too much on the higher end.
