We love Uyghur food especially Lamb Polo. The polo here is the best I had in NYC. We also ordered the lamb soup which is good but a bit too salty, however the lamb is very tender and tasty. The lamb kawaps were very good, juicy and tasty, but the lamp chop was tough and tasteless which I don’t understand. Shouldn’t they be marinated the same way? We also ordered thin-skin steamed mantas, the onion and meat one is very good, but the squash meat one was lack of flavor. Next...
This is a really delicious Xinjiang restaurant. It is located in the basement of a hotel. The space is small but beautifully decorated, filled with authentic Xinjiang touches. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, with patterned carpets, copper teapots, and a few traditional ornaments that make it feel inviting.

There were four of us that day. We had just finished a long hike and were tired and very hungry. We ordered a medium Big Plate Chicken, five Lamb Kawaps...
Food was delicious & atmosphere is cozy.I would suggest to study the menu beforehand if its your first
Time since the waiter was too busy to answer questions about the menu.
