Classic New York diner with all the stereotypes! You'll love it. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries for a quick lunch. They even have valet parking!

A friend and I went eat there, they have specials. Where you can buy one for certain prices. The pancake deal is 15 dollar. Is 2 or 3 pancakes 2 eggs cook how you like it and sausage. I ask for the with eggs and turkey sausage. The waiter put the order in separate and put chocolate on the pancakes which I did not ask for. That meal alone cam up to 30 something dollars it was lunch time at that and I had grapefruit juice. And he had a nerve to ask me how many stars I would give him 0 plus No tip. He should say well we specials which is cheaper. Oh I had coffee taste like hot dish water. The place is good make sure you get the female waitress they are good with helping you with the manual.

1st time here and we chose the Challah French toast. Two over easy eggs, and bacon. The plate came with 5 strips of crispy tasty bacon!!! Perfect!! It was so good and very plentiful! I was so full. The Challah toast was very filling! YUMMY!! They also have a large menu to order from with ALL types of options. Not including the pastry menu!

Service was extremely fast!. Wait staff very attentive. My over easy eggs with bacon and French fries was excellent. Coffee is pretty good. Also shared the waffle and vanilla ice cream with my sisters which was very good.

The wait staff is attentive and the food is okay. I asked for a cobb salad and was served fresh lettuce, black olives, green peppers with lightly cooked bacon and sliced American cheese cut into pieces. What happened to the eggs, crispy bacon, avocado, blue cheese...

Standard diner. Nothing noteworthy to stand out from the last surving diners in Queens. The burger was good and the service was good.

I'm not sure when diners decided that home fries didn't need green peppers, but here they've decided they dont need onions or seasoning either. I like this place and almost everything I've had is good, but wow, the home fries are depressing. Get the French fries instead.

Good but not as good as should be. They should first be reviewed by the health department before they serve people.

First time here and will be coming back to try another menu item. It took me a long time to decide what to get. They have a lot of food to choose from from breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, etc. Pay cash to save on the bill (as advertised). I did not take any photos but this place is accessible by the MTA Q12/13. Q30/31. There is a BUS STOP in front of the Diner. This diner is located along Northern Blvd. (Bayside area) in Queens. They have parking as well.
Kid-friendliness: There was a kids birthday party at the time, so it is definitely Kid-friendly!

Well, where do I start? My co-workers and I decided to check out North Shore Diner for an early lunch today, and boy, was that a mistake. The only thing that started off well was being greeted by a valet in the parking lot. It seemed like a classy touch at the time, but in retrospect, I suspect they’re there to distract you from the horror that awaits inside.
As someone who’s eaten MREs and field rations in the military, I can tell you that even those meals would be considered gourmet compared to the slop we were served. The food at North Shore Diner is a masterclass in blandness. Seriously, if you’re looking for a meal where flavor goes to die, this is the place for you.
We ordered cheeseburgers, asking for them to be cooked medium. They arrived well done and tasted nothing like meat. If there’s a prize for the most bland burger ever, North Shore Diner would win it hands down. A bit of salt and pepper might have gone a long way, but apparently, those are luxuries they don’t believe in.
One of my colleagues went with a Reuben, and it was a revelation of how to ruin a classic. The meat was unseasoned, the sauerkraut was flavorless, and the bread was so soggy it felt like a cruel joke. The surprise of a soggy bottom was a special touch we could have done without.
And let’s not forget the bill. A jaw-dropping $66, which ballooned to over $80 after tip. We tipped, of course, because the server is not to blame for the culinary catastrophe. But honestly, I’d rather have spent that money on a meal anywhere else, even if it meant foregoing the valet experience.
In summary, if you’re in the mood for a dining experience that will make you question your life choices, North Shore Diner is the place to go. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. Your taste buds will thank you.
