First off let me say that the staff is incredibly nice and the ingredients are very fresh, dishes are flavorful. The pork dishes and eggplant are absolutely delicious. Staff is so helpful in accommodating vegans. I don’t think they explain stinky tofu properly to all patrons especially those who need the explaining like us. We went by the reviews of everyone here saying wow the stinky tofu, but if you’ve never had stinky tofu in your life and don’t know what to expect, it is quite literal. The braised stinky tofu we ordered came with gravy (maybe the other dry ones are delicious I don’t know) but ours smelled and tasted like ummm and I don’t say this lightly… vomit. It’s been 24 hours and I cannot erase the memory of the stench. Maybe it’s our fault for not researching it well but also kind of theirs for no real guidance on the menu or in person. Either way just wanted to write this for anyone who is curious about the take of someone who’s never tried it before and will probably not try it again.
Vegetarian options: Many dishes can be made vegan and that part is well explained

The experience at this place was wonderful because my friend and I ordered 3 cups of chicken with veggies and rice for lunch. The food was awesome and the service was wonderful. The atmosphere was quiet.

The food is very much old school Taiwanese flavors, the water boil fish dish is outstanding! Love the spicy ? taste it's not too heavy like other restaurants.
The overall portion is bigger than bei gong and just as tasty.
The stinky tofu is what sets a Taiwanese restaurant. And the stinkiness and the taste is one of the best!

Food is authentic but more like homemade not at a restaurant standard. Service is good but the waitress is too busy. The room is crowded and hot (no AC), the table has a bit of leftover dirt from the previous customers, the decorations are faded.
Bad reviews for the dumplings. They were not fried, they were frozen, and they tasted weird.
