Great local spot. Beautiful inside with lots of wood. Small menu but done well. Pours a good pint of Guinness, what else could you ask for.

Great place for a casual drink. Food was good too, although I wish the caesar salad was easier to eat and actually blended in rather than a mountain of leaves.

Hearing PJ Horgan's was reopening with new management, my wife & I went the evening it opened. Nice experience. I had a very tasty hamburger & french fries & the fries were REAL, not from a frozen package. My wife had devil eggs, also quite tasty, I had 1 of them. The crowd was diverse in terms of age & race, nice change from the usual. The inviting setting also included a varied playlist of music. One Dad with a young child left as there was no kid's menu, but he could've given the little boy some of his meal. I hope Horgan's will eventually have different kinds of live music, but avoid trivia nights. All in all, a nice evening & we'll be back.John

Kind service, lovely atmosphere and not expensive at all. Good quality outing in NYC that doesn't break the bank... practically an endangered species. You won't regret coming by.Especially for happy hour!

Went for brunch and had a great time; good food, good drinks, welcoming waiter, and accommodating bar tender. We'll definitely be back again. I'm surprised it isn't a busier brunch spot. While it isn't on their website, they have a great bottomless brunch deal $25 for 1.5 hrs. I wouldn't have known about it if they didn't have it on their sign out front one day. Between the four of us we had the avocado toast, steak and eggs, breakfast sandwich, and california omelette with sides of bacon and sausage. All the food was good with reasonable portions and we had no complaints. Opting for the bottomless brunch we got to sample many of their brunch drinks, which is a nice sized menu compared to other spots. The waiter was very attentive even coming back right before our time was up to get us a final round. The poloma was particularly good. The margarita was ok, but not great. At first the espresso martini was a bit too sweet, but after my espresso snob friend asked for it with no sugar she thought it was great. We didn't try the frozen drinks (it was too cold out!). Drinks were of typical strength, so we didn't leave smashed, but how easy and responsive they were we could have definitely squeezed in a few more rounds if that was our prerogative. Definitely give it a try!

As a bartender, i have a very low bar for service. I'll wait, i'll deal with delays, and i'll never complain. The circumstances tonight would've called for bad service and the bartender did AMAZING. People were causing problems and breaking glasses( which he cleaned and handled promptly)....seriously i have never seen a bartender as great as Mark. He had to deal with the worst people all night, but i never had to wait for a drink, a smile, or even a water !!! One of the greatest bars on skillman and amazing staff.

One of my favorite spots to visit when I used to live in Sunnyside, I miss it so much! Extremely friendly staff, amazing food and super cute and cozy atmosphere. Never had a dish I didn't like from here.

I like this place and the food . I'm a newbie here but I gravitated to this place because of the environment. My only complaint is the awful singer who came in on Sunday . He is bad! There are so many singers in this hood . Why would they bring in this guy ? I recommend the fish and chips by the way

Awesome food reasonable prices. Great service. The garlic shrimp app and steak sandwich are home runs as is the Sunday roast!

Great food! The fried items (onion rings, fried cauliflower, French fries) were all prepared wonderfully with the perfect crunch on the outside with the full taste and texture of whatever was inside. Too many places fry things to the point of being overly crunchy/hard or excessively oily and thankfully PJ Horgan's does not do that at all. Highly recommend.

Loved the happy hour drinks! We started dancing though, and they said “Please stop.” So just know that if you’re here to drink: party on. If you’re here to dance: move on.

My first time experience coming here on yesterday Sunday for dinner was great. I came here with my dad to have a father & son bonding over dinner. What I enjoyed about this Irish American pub is the atmosphere and menu. It feels historic, rustic, and casual without being too fancy. Definitely a must try place if you want to relax outdoors with your family and friends.
