Living in the DC area, where there are no good restaurants for Malaysian/Singaporean food, this place is exactly what I was looking for. The seafood char kway teow and curry fish balls just hit the right spot for me!

Disappointing. Was very excited to try as PapaRich is really popular.
While the food was good, it was not fresh. Dishes seemed to be pre-cooked it comes out barely warm :(
Flavors were good though.
The satay was good but cold, the shrimp wonton appetizer was the only hot thing served.
Service was rushed. They will try to get your plate even if you are still not finished and will give you the check even if you are still eating.
It looked nice from the outside, but the ambiance is sad once you're in, the section to the right was closed and empty which gives the feeling that the restaurant is not doing well?
I hope they get better, because I like the menu and the flavors.

Disappointing experience. I used to come to PappaRich often when around Flushing as I love Malaysian food. The standard seemed to really be a lot lower than I remembered. On my most recent visit, food was good but the service was awful. The server handed us waters with her fingers curled on top of our glass, which is a big no-no for food handling. She also pre-selected the gratuity amount which is a big pet peeve of mine. I always give a proper generous tip and she selected less than I was expecting to give but the whole presumptive action really soured my experience. Overall, pass on this place given the other places where you might have a much better dine-in experience.
Ordered the chicken curry/shrimp and hainanese chicken. The food came out barely warm and suspiciously quick so it seemed as though it was just sitting there. The garnishes were also visually old and drying. And weren’t willingly accommodating when we wished to return our food. Also tried to charge us and argue about food that we didn’t eat.

Attended a large birthday lunch here over the weekend. The staff were very patient and helpful and the food was great.
The restaurant is on the third floor. It has a lot of seating and natural light, which makes the atmosphere feel even more inviting.
