Order from Pearl Garden many many times over the years, Aunty (owner ) is a wonderful person, this establishment is truly 2 person mama's and pop's restaurant but this review is the long over due. The menu is not the typical Chinese takeout, but the Taiwanese style, so don't expect chicken broccoli or beef and no fried rices, lol. Food is on point every time ? This hole in the wall establishment is one of the best hidden places you will ever come across. The food is perfect, almost to what I remember in Taiwan. The staff is so nice and generous, always giving you more than what you ordered. The place doesn't look appealing from the outside but don't let that get you to miss out on a super great restaurant!!
Grandma was a very nice person. One night at 8:30, the store was already closed, so I called to place an order with the intention of giving it a try, but she still helped prepare the meal. Later I asked my grandma, and she said that it was closed, but the pot was still hot, but she tried her best to cook. I work outside and am warmed by my grandma’s kindness?The rice is delicious, and the soup, whether salty or sweet, is delicious.
