RUDE STAFF - NOT RECOMMENDED. I came here hoping to support a local business, especially since I know the family who owns it from school but this was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had.
When I returned from the restroom (which was slippery with grease and clearly not well-maintained), I noticed all three servers staring at me as I walked back to my table. They then started speaking loudly in Fuzhounese, assuming I wouldn’t understand, saying things like “Look at the way she’s dressed… girls like her are so trashy. I guess men like that type though.” I was wearing a tank top and yoga pants- nothing inappropriate, and regardless it’s completely unacceptable for staff to insult customers.
What made it worse was seeing how they treated their own coworker. The woman training a new server repeatedly belittled her, calling her stupid and mocking how she spoke, all loudly and in front of everyone. It was honestly hard to watch.
Gratuity was automatically included (unfortunately), though I genuinely hope it goes to the poor new server and not the ones gossiping and bullying others.
Safe to say I will never be returning. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful staff, and a disappointing experience overall.
The servers here are so rude and the resturant is dirty. The sriracha bottles all have dried up sauce on them and are greasy to the touch. Even the tables, they don’t wipe them with any disinfecting spray, just a dirty used rag. When we settled the bill, my sister was still finishing up the rest of her soup when the server came up to us and told us to leave. I’ve never been to a resturant where the servers were so unwelcoming and rude. They said “can you hurry up there’s other customers waiting.” We were only there for 30 mins and my sister had 3 sips left….
