Decided to give it a second chance and more sauce is the way to go. I got the shrimp + Chips, poke tuna and poke salmon with spicy mayo. Very good. I like it a lot this time. The size is pretty good and the rice is well cooked.

I ordered online and was told prepare time would be 20 to 25 minutes. When I arrived and asked for my order one prep asked another prep about the order. Without saying anything to me they scrambled to start the order. Mind you the place was empty. As I waited the staff was arguing with each other about getting the order done. After I recieved my order with an apology, I tried the onigiri's I ordered and there was pretty much no filling in the kimchi onigiri, its was all rice. Really not worth the wait, but worth my first time experience. I'll try again to see if maybe it was just a bad day. We all have them.

Very good but not my favorite. This place will definitely take care of your poke craving and is a great alternative to pokeworks. They have an ordering system similar to AYCE sushi where you mark what you want on a slip and hand it to a worker who prepares your food. They had a good selection of fish and toppings as well as sauce. I also enjoyed that you can choose between two bowl sizes. The worker was very kind and prepared my bowl very quickly. I appreciated that she notified me that she would not be putting avocado on my bowl because they were browning -- I would rather this than paying extra to get a rotting avocado. My bowl tastes fresh and the flavors complimented each other well. While I wish they had some creamy sauces/aolis and spicy fish options (my reasons for loving poke works), it was delicious and fairly priced. I would come back.

I ordered for delivery small poke and a hungry bowl. The food was very cold by the time I got it. I had to reheat it a little bit. The small bowl was way too small. It was overpriced. Overall, it was alright. A lot of ingredients to choose from which is nice.

After first eating here when it opened I was impressed, and now 2 years later, I'm still impressed. I've had their poke twice this past week and both times, it was consistent and very delicious. I ordered through grubhub, a pickup and it was on time and everyone was super nice. The fish is always fresh and they always fill up the bowl. I will be sure to continue coming to Pokewave!

Yummm! This was prefect! I always have the hardest time selecting something to eat when I'm on this side of town. This was a great choice. Guilt free, tasty, the vibe was cool and I even shazamed a few new songs from the playlist they had going. Cool spot!

First and probably last time coming here. Food was okay but nothing special. I counted maybe 4 pieces each of shrimp and salmon. We both ordered eel as one of our proteins and it's not indicated on the menu it's an extra $1 charge. Worst part? We didn't realize we didn't even get the eel until we opened up our bowls at home. I've been wanting to try this place out for awhile and overall pretty disappointed.

I like their service, they're also pretty nice! I love coming here to get lunch but I just wish they had more meats that aren't just raw.

I've had pretty good experiences with PokéWave! I mostly take the onigiri- specifically the shrimp. It's very tasty and they have a special where you get three onigiri with a choice of drink. The interior looks a little thrown in together here but other than that the service is decent. It's nice to come here if you're looking for a cheap and tasty meal!

Great service! The place is very small but clean and cozy. The only thing missing is a restroom but this doesn't stop customers from coming in. I came here 4 times and the food was always fresh and great tasting.

3 years later and they're just as good as I remembered. So happy to see them doing well. I hope they expand more! It's convenient that I can order for pick up on yelp, but I still think texting them is faster and so innovative.

My cousin made his own hungry bowl (abt $12-15, pricey) with chicken which was extremely bland (The chicken cucumber poke from young street poke was way better.) 6 slices of avocado now cost $1.50 extra. He also got scallion, onion, cucumber, classic sauce, seaweed salad, kani salad, kimchi, nori, garlic & onion crisps. Everything else was good. The bland chicken just killed the rest of the meal.

Very fresh and large portion for eating in. The bowl are giantic Chinese noodle bowls and they give you plenty of topping, sauce, base and of course fish of your selection. They don't have ginger as an option but do offer other variety of toppings suck as scallion, edamame, garlic or onion crisps and string beans (fresh kind, not the canned ones).

Not as fresh as the poke on Oahu, but pretty good for NY. The seasoning is a lot like the poke in Hawaii too, and its affordable.
