I'm from Hong Kong and have lived and traveled all over China, and there's not a better Chinese restaurant than this. My son and I have been going there almost every Saturday lunch for 3 years, and we're sooooo sad they're gone

A pretty solid Chinese restaurant, a bit north of the Main Street station area. It's easy to miss, although the interior is pretty spacious. They really should reprint the menu, since the dishes listed are not in particular orders. That said, everything we tried is very delicious from Kung pao chicken to Chinese pancake. The staff is friendly. It was pretty empty during the early dinner hours at 5 pm, but got packed quickly after 6 pm or so. Would definitely recommend it if you want a more spacious restaurant to enjoy a nice meal. Indoor ventilation was great, CO2 was around 500 ppm when it wasn't too crowded yet.

It was my first time to eat there, and I read average online reviews. As a Northeastern person, I just wanted to taste hometown food. At first, I felt that the waiter's attitude was cold and blunt, and the word service was not relevant at all. Let’s talk about the vegetables. There are no five vegetables in the five-vegetable pulled noodles. They are served mixed. There is less pulled noodles and less sesame sauce. There is no shredded lunch meat, only shredded cucumbers and carrots. This is the most unpleasant facelift I have ever had. Cumin mutton is stir-fried mutton. The correct method is to fry the mutton pieces. Di Sanxian is made of sharp peppers, not green peppers, and the potatoes are not fried thoroughly and are hard inside. The Guobao Pork was okay, although the color was not good. I wanted to give it two more stars?, but I really can’t find a reason, which is a pity.

Mapo tofu was super good. The gou bao rou wasn't that good. Meat was dry and tough and the sauce was too over powering compared when eaten at a dongbei restaurant in China. The sauce there is balanced between the sweet, sour, and ginger and cut with enough thickened water to be able to taste the marinated meat.

Soup and vegetables were okay. Unfortunately, the chicken was way dry.

I order delivery, the reason I give 2 stars is because the ingredients are correct, other than that, I wish I ordered some fast food, which is cheaper and taste

After reading about this place, I took my 2 youngest kids and my wife to eat here. Fish fillet with sour vegetables soup: it was decent. Fried Milk: this was good and surprisingly it was the best dish of the night. It was plastered on the wall without a price. When I got the bill I was surprised that it was $10.99. Way overpriced as we ordered this similar dish in tons of places and it was about 1/2 this price. Boiled Chicken sesame soy: the soy sauce was too salty. Pig Feet with brown sauce: somehow it didn't come "with a brown sauce ". When we asked for it, the waiter said it doesn't come with a sauce but he gave hot spicy chili oil sauce instead (like the ones you find in the supermarket). The trotters were missing some seasoning as they were completely bland but we were not in the mood to dip them in chili oil. Pork Shoulder jelly: it was ok but the soy sauce that it came with was too salty again. BB Ribs with special sauce. This was decent and one of my sons like this dish the best. Spicy beef noodle soup: This dish had amazing aroma and flavor but it had a common problem again as it was way too salty. This could be the best version of this if they cut most of the salt out. Braised Duck bamboo: The final and the priciest dish for the nite was the most disappointing. It was like they poured the container of salt in it. The flavor was similar to spicy Sichuan fish we ordered in several places but this has to win the prize as the most saltiest dish we ever had ever. Besides the salt, we got mostly neck bones and a few pieces of meat. This was a complete ripoff. Unfortunately it was overall a very SALTY (mixed with MSG) experience for us. Never again as we had to drink tons of water all nite after this horrible experience.

The sugar coated taro was my favorite, the rest of the dishes were good.

Delicious food, had the pork belly with egg and bok choy, and lamb and sour cabbage stew

We came in for a late lunch, so the place was pretty empty. We ordered the dumplings with fermented cabbage, hot and sour soup (it was a very cold day, and we were freezing,), and the loofah with shrimp. The dumplings and soup were very good. The loofah, what a surprise! It was absolutely fantastic. The melon was soft on the outside, but somewhat crunchy on the inside. We thought the shrimp were fresh, not frozen, because they were smooth and sweet. The sauce was subtle and delicious. It’s a clear sauce with a hint of seafood, so we thought maybe they made it with the shrimp shells. Everything came out at once, so another time we might ask them to hold the dishes we were going to eat later in the meal so they wouldn’t get cold. One warning, the servings are huge!

Authentic Northern Chinese Cuisine. The service still has room to improve, but the food is so yummy.

This place is really a 3.5 stars. I did not like the pig knuckles, noodles and the dumplings were just ok. The beans were excellent along with the lamb, chicken and frog meat. The place was a little pricey.
