Excellent poppyseed babka that looks, tastes, and is packaged exactly like Green's though they claim it's their own, but, whatever, the point is that it's delicious. Very good chocolate babka too.

First of all, this bakery has a serious problem!!! I came in about a week ago and they are VERY!!! overpriced. I payed $16 dollars for some cookies (that weren't even that good). And the lady who was ringing me up was very rude. She was an older woman with long curly blonde hair and a heavy accent. I was deciding what to buy and she was rushing me. And might I add, I witnessed her yelling at a younger girl who was working with her about who was going to ring me up. The older lady yelled at her saying that I was her customer (there was a line and the girl just wanted to help) and that the girl should go away and not ring anyone up. If your employees are being rude to both your customers and your employees you have to do something about it. I also bought some challah bread which was okay but I found it to be very dry. Unless some changes happen, I won't be coming back!!

I used to come here with my dad when they first opened and I was impressed! I used to get challahs, muffins, desserts, and they were all amazing! Sometimes, the lady in the front would give me the baked goods fresh out of the oven. I don’t know if she works there anymore.

Pastries were all consistent across the board. We tried the custard sufganiyot, the Nutella sufganiyot, the hamantaschen, and what I presume was their take on chocolate babka. We had the sweets over the course of four days and they held up pretty well. Good shelf life and I think they would have been good for at least a week and probably more. I'd say the chocolate babka was probably the most well regarded of them all, but I think any of the items I tried would have been crowd pleasers. Pricing was very competitive too. They accept contactless payment.

My co worker came into work today with the Hanukkah donuts-custard and the Nutella ones. I had the Nutella one on my way home this evening. OMG, it was divine!!!! I had to take bites at every stop light to savor the hazelnutty deliciousness of that donut! I am hooked! I will be taking my lunch break early and walk my mile to Queens Pita!!!!

The employees are rude especially the older blonde lady. Why is your long hair down while you're handling open box cookies? She never understands which cookies i'm choosing because she doesn't pay attention. first time i bought with her i paid cash. total was $6 and i paid with $10. she gave me back $13. I went back and returned the extra money to her because she didn't not do her math correctly. I come in today and she is again not paying attention and rushing me. she clearly sees me discussing with my mom which cookies i will choose and she interrupts me twice to say hello which one do you want. and that's after she taps on the counter for me to check out. why am i being rushed and referred to like i'm an anímal? i think it's time to hire a new person and someone who is able to focus more.

So stale! I bought a Tagelach yesterday for Yom Kippur and it was petrified! My guests couldn’t even pull off 1 dough ball. Even the chocolate mandel bread was as dry as rye. I’m so disappointed and have been a customer for many many years. If I didn’t live so far, I’d bring the items back.

I have been a customer for decades and enjoyed their pastry. They also sell pastry that is low in sugar for those who are diabetic. Their breads are very good and so are their Challah bread (Wednesday -Friday).

They should be ashamed of selling old and stale cookies. This isn't the first time this has happened. 13$ for a dozen cookies that needed up in the garbage. i have also bought borekas that where moldy from there. They store is also dirty and always has flies. i will never patronize this store until they clean up their act.
