Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. To start, the old male waiter was extremely rude to me and my friends and kept staring at us the entire time, making us very uncomfortable. Additionally, they even tried to charge us for food we never ordered and demanded a large tip on top of it.
Please please take a look at other reviews mentioning the same issue regarding tips and a rude waiter as they are pretty accurate.
Moral of the story: avoid this resturant and always double-check your receipt, because they might add items you never ordered and still try to charge you for them. 🤦♀️

I used to come here with my parents when I was a kid! Glad to see it’s still going strong. Love seeing mom and pop restaurants surviving this long.

UNSANITARY and terrible service.
Weird old Korean male waiter was pacing around behind us as we ate and rude, no skills in serving or setting the table properly. Spilled hot water without any apology, just soaking the paper placemats. The staff need better training or full replacement.
Food was not fresh, meat was grilled like an amateur, and stale banchan/side dishes. Rice was served cold. Horrible quality compared to real Korean restaurants.

As a Korean American, I’m very familiar with Korean food and our dining culture. This restaurant’s side dishes were not authentic to Korean food and had no effort, presented on chipped and burnt plastic plates. The server was also rude, even dropping a dish on the floor and not ever replacing it (even though they were not busy, only one table…) The quality of the meat was average at best, very fatty and not cleaned well. Also, the 돌솥 비빔밥 (Dolsot Bibimbap) is not real Korean Dolsot Bibimbap and is made with lesser/not traditional ingredients.

The Korean food here is slightly overpriced for what you get. I tried the tofu stew, which was just okay, bland and the banchan was decent but nothing special. The galbi, as always, is a solid choice--you really can't go wrong with it. However, overall, the experience was underwhelming, and I probably wouldn't return.
The food taste super good and the staff are nice

Clean. Professional people. Reasonable prices. I recommend kalbitang.
This has been a pleasant experience and we were welcomed and taken care of by the staffs in here.
Good
The food is nice, meat is fresh and not too strong. The soup and banchan all have authentic korean taste
They offer free refill banchan and rice so its nice and filling enough if you are heavy eater. All side dishes are not bad so why not?
The servers are nicely taken care of us, help us with grilling, and also always update with us about the meat and everything.
Bad
The staff tried to upsell us the more expensive combo but we didn’t really need it. Have to verbally decline twice is kinda awkward.
The price is high for sure, but you can’t ask cheaper for such performance - because they truly invested in the food and services. Just say that its not for every day visit for low income .
Just visit here for special occasion, when you want to be treated nicely and eat good food. I hope the business will be there always.

I came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday. The food was great but we were so cold the entire time due to the cold air coming in from the air vent above the table. It definitely would have been 5 stars all across the board if it weren't for the cold.

I love the soup, seafood pancake, Tteok-bokki, and the KBBQ. Me and my partner went and ordered a bit too much since we wanted to taste a little bit of everything. Overall, the price wasn’t too bad for what we ordered and also we didn’t get bothered by anyone regarding tips (as comments mentioned below).

This is the first time I've had such a tasteless soft tofu. I think it'll be better if I make it myself.
And on top of that, he's unfriendly
